Sounds like Titans football is best suited for 2022!

That was something Robinson talked about with Murlarkey at the helm.  The league wants to go light, we going to go big.
They want to zig, we will zag.
I think it has been effective winning football games.  Like we've all been saying and something I scream all the time, we need to "mature the passing game." Can't just be play-action that we lean on.
Also help if we have an OC with a better feel.

Interesting in the sense of teams being "cheap." If the Raiders are not willing to be flexible with money, I could see why we might be on the end of being cheap. I don't know how Mark Davis stacks up against the big wig dudes in the NFL. Should be interesting to see how we handle contracts especially with a new stadium on the horizon.

I don't think his family was ever one of the "rich" ones. I think they just happened to get in at the right time and his father passed it down. I could be wrong.

Todd Downing should lead with this is all interviews if he gets them. lol

It is an interesting way to look at things. LaFleur didn't exactly light the world on fire here, then goes to Green Bay and before this season was 39-10. Having Rodgers obviously helps, but we've seen coaches with top flight QB play do far worse than that.

I know nothing about how much the players like Todd, though he comes across as likeable in his press conferences. If players love him and he'd be willing to take input from outside sources for his offensive gameplanning(See Vrabel with Pees and now Schwartz) then yeah something good could come from that.

Vrabel was a really popular HC candidate apparently during that off-season, so it's clear the entire league saw something in him despite his lack of success running Houston's defense. So people in the league holding a higher opinion of someone than the fans of a team or than the success of a given unit would lead you to believe isn't unheard of.
