Heck the Rams shouldve been up 27-9 against the Cards but Akers fumbled and the Cards went down the field to kick a field goal to make it 20-12 and the Rams won by 8pts which is one score

Tbf the Rams were also one Stafford spin move away from giving AZ the ball back only up 13-9 basically at the start of the 4th.

I get one score games can be random…So yeah one score games can be random

But then also…

but there is nothing random about losing a playoff game when you are up with 13 seconds left. There is nothing random about losing to the Titans last season on MNF bc Allen literally slipped and couldnt convert that wouldve given more than likely given the Bills the win had he converted.

So you ask the question, acknowledge the consensus answer, and then ask it again anyway.

The Raiders were like, 7-2 or something in close games last year. Now they’re 0-3, with largely a better roster.

Like I dont think seven straight games is a small sample size at all.

If you make the sample size even bigger (therefore - more reliable) by let’s say, adding in 2020, you’d see they’re pretty dead split. This thread’s a nothing-burger.

If a team loses the same way, multiple years in a row, one should look at why.
raiders are not really a comparable example in that regard

If you “add to the sample size” as suggested, you see the Bills are about split in one score games. This thread really only works on the premise that you don’t use “multiple years in a row”.

It would’ve been interesting to see what they would’ve done had the Ravens kicked the FG to go up by 3pts.

Well the Bills drove down the field and then got to the 1, kneeled it 2x and kicked a FG to win, so I think they would have been able to get a TD with the way that drive went.
