Every draft I've done is different. In this case, I've drafted a DT (Ika) because the currently rotated DT's couldn't stop the EAGLES Oline at all. I'm assuming Chiefs coaching saw the same thing and will adjust (ie. release) players accordingly. I have no affinity for Nnadi or Wharton.

DE. I chose Andre Carter II, and McGuire. I expect Clark to NOT be retained. We need younger, fresher, (cheaper) legs.

63. Calijah Kancey, DL Pittsburgh - I still say he should go mid-round 1.

95. Cameron Latu, TE Alabama - I'm still high on Noah Gray. But the board sucked, the talent is there, and Fortson can't stay healthy.

122. Wanya Morris, OT Oklahoma - Another bad board. Morris can compete with Harrison, Niang, and Tega Wanogho leaving us with cheap quality depth.

134. Mike Morris, DL Michigan - Rotational guy who could take over Danna's role in 2024.

168. Jonathan Mingo, WR Ole Miss - This is the first time I watched any tape. This guy shouldn't go this late. Someone is going to get a steal.

197. Atonio Mafi, OG UCLA - Someone else to develop. Thuney will be 31 and costs 22+mil a year. Trey Smith is a couple years out from a pay day. We need to develop a replacement for one of the two; if not both.

217. Xavier Henderson, S Michigan State - Special teamer and depth player.

219. Malik Cunningham, QB Louisville - Depth guy who we can hopefully develop and trade in the future for higher picks.

227. Charlie Thomas, S/LB Georgia Tech - I think he could be a potential replacement for Willie Gay after a year or developing. We can't pay everyone. Plus, his skill set could allow for more flexible coverage disguises.

251. Derek Parish, Edge Houston - Special teamer and depth.

Atta boy @kingseanjohn  Mingo has been a fave of mine since October.    Needs a ton of work as a pure WR,   But love his fit immediately as a gadget guy.

I believe that Kancey at 63 and Morris at 134 will both move all along the line, including at edge. I just labeled Parish differently because I don't think he'll successfully play inside at all. With where we pick and the draft class, I don't think we're going to be getting a pure edge in the 1st this year.

I haven't seen a lot, but I came away impressed on initial viewing. I wonder why his overall stats aren't higher based on what I saw. I don't know Ole Miss well enough, and frankly don't care enough, to put in the effort to find out. Hopefully someone does though.

I found a handful of attractive Edge players early. I'd mine there.

Great highlight vid guy.   Incredible athlete,  with just solid speed.    Rough around the edges, but great once he has the ball in his hands.    Laviska Shenault is a great comp imo.    
Just if he can develop more as a pure WR,  that offense is doodoo scheme wise. He will need coached up

Who said Cornell Powell?  Pretty much everything I just described is the polar opposite of Powell lol.   Powell was never a threat with the ball, even in college.    And also came from a Clemson offense that showcased more NFL traits.   Powell is on the lower end of athleticism for NFL WR’s that don’t have great size.   His ceiling was a solid depth guy from the start.
