Total hyperbolic statement...

I would dress 6 on gamedays if we kept 7...probably sit Pringle until he is 100%...then sit Pettis who I don't see being on the team long term...Blackwell has PR experience as well.

Dress 6 on game days when almost none of them have any special teams value?

That is a tough ask for the rest of the roster.

I agree with you but at the same time, I figure Claypool’s ceiling would’ve been much higher in GB with a HOF qb throwing to him. Rodgers is the guy that elevates bad receivers and makes average ones good. Maybe not this year so much though lol

In Chicago his shortcomings will be more on display and will meet more scorn

I agree Erin Rodgers would help Chase Claypool but don't discount our guy just yet.  From what I've researched Chase is a down field stretch the defense type receiver and his last three QBs couldn't take advantage of his skill set.  Big Ben was on the last legs of his career and didn't have the arm strength to sling the ball downfield, anymore.  Mitch was never a big thrower and is a short to mid range passing type.  And Pickett, from what I've gathered, is the same sorts.  Fields loves and excels at deep passing and is the strongest and most consistent part of his game.

Maybe we won't see them click this Sun or even next but their playing traits match up and when they get on the same page we could have an explosive duo to help the offense.

These are the guys that are usually active.

That leaves 3 spots for WRs.

Who do we make inactive to keep a 6th WR who will play almost no snaps and not on special teams?

To help develop Fields and the rest of this offence it’s one I expect to happen…trading out Quinn & Roquan added two more defenders who play on teams in Jonathan & Klein.

So who are you benching to activate a 6th WR?

I also disagree that sitting down Harry, ESB, or both does anything to help the offense develop?

It feels like you would be forcing WR7 into the line up because of where he was drafted.

Well Muhammad doesnt really do much when hes out there anyway, right?

He plays a lot of defensive reps and is generally competent against the run.

But you will never bench Flus’ son.

Also, the DL needs every hand on deck. Their only hope is to be fresher than the opponent.

I knew you were.

I just don’t know how you take a guy off all 4 special teams so you can run a jet sweep in the 3rd quarter.

I also don’t know how you go to ESB or Harry and tell them that they are sitting now. Both have been positive contributors to the offense.
