I was not one of the Deshaun Watson people to begin with. I was a Baker truther. Clearly I was wrong about Baker (he sucks), but I was right about Deshaun (not worth the trade). I hated the Deshaun Watson trade because I was betting on Baker & our draft picks/salary. I was kind of right, but also kind of wrong. Baker and Deshaun both suck. I'd rather have the cheaper option (suck with Baker & have picks to fix the roster) than the current situation, but Watson is better than Baker & you will see that next year. Is he good enough to warrant what we traded away? Probably never will be. But our QB situation is better now without Baker than it was with him.
