Question for the masses,

How often do you think the Packers and Jets are talking?

Every day?

Every couple of days?

Do you think this occupies a lot of their time, or do they talk a few minutes a day and go about their business?

Thoughts?

My guess is little to not at all. How much is there really to discuss at this point? Unless the Jets are willing to come close to what the Packers are asking the conversations are likely to be short. The only time they reach out to us is when they are adding/removing pieces from their offer(s).

This is probably a real life look at GB and Jets negotiating...

They only talk when they likely have come up with new terms. Why sit on the phone if say GB wants 13 and Jets only want to give 43.

only talk if you have an idea to get yourself closer to a deal.

Jets can be like hey can’t do 13, but the value of 13 is this… so what about we give you 43, player, 3rd rounder and whatever to met that value.

So I assume this happens probably every few days or so.

GB is likely getting calls daily from Rodgers agent though haha

I would want more than 13 and a future pick for Nijman and Rodgers.  Nijman himself is worth a second, that's an objective price.

The 1(13) is basically worth 3 mid round 2nds

We get 3 players and future picks even.

Moore is worth a 2nd as well.

I think 2023 2nd, 2024 2nd, Moore and Ruckert for ARod is pretty fair

Yup, trade his rights to the Texans in August for a 2030 conditional 7th…. Escalates to a  2024 first if traded to the Jets or the NFC

Let the Texans deal with trading him mid season to a contender for profit, don’t care.

or just trade him to the Patriots for a 3rd, they have cap, just to give the Jets nation the middle finger.

Saleh and Douglass will be looking for new jobs, Gute o and MLF will be fine.
