How much is there really to discuss at this point? Unless the Jets are willing to come close to what the Packers are asking the conversations are likely to be short. PossibleCabbage Posted March 17, 2023 Share Posted March 17, 2023 Yeah, the Packers are absolutely in the same "Aaron Rodgers remains a mystery, let's focus on the draft" mode that they have experience with the last several years. They only talk when they likely have come up with new terms. Why sit on the phone if say GB wants 13 and Jets only want to give 43. only talk if you have an idea to get yourself closer to a deal. Jets can be like hey can’t do 13, but the value of 13 is this… so what about we give you 43, player, 3rd rounder and whatever to met that value. Escalates to a 2024 first if traded to the Jets or the NFC Let the Texans deal with trading him mid season to a contender for profit, don’t care. or just trade him to the Patriots for a 3rd, they have cap, just to give the Jets nation the middle finger.
