Depending upon your point of view, you either love this draft class or hate it. RedGold is clearly rebuilding after the unfortunate but hilarious Russell Wilson fall, and he's kind of in no man's land picking 4th. Why not draft the biggest boom or bust QB prospect I can remember since Jamarcus Russell? Harrison and Jones are both good value and it looks like you basically hope for ONE of them to pan out. Jones is potentially 415 pounds, but he had an amazing season and Senior Bowl. I love Ojilari and like Tippmann, but Tippman is enormous for a center and may have to kick out to OT. A lot of picks and a lot of fliers later on, so if even 1/4 of them pan out, you have to be relatively happy. The message is also clear in that if things go super south this year, you'll be right back to the top because you're in it for the long haul. That's not what you chose, you chose this:

Ragnarok
@MWil23 Draft Picks 2023:1.1 - C.J. Stroud1.13 - Devon Witherspoon2.1 - Deonte Banks2.13 - Darnell Washington3.11 - Mazi Smith5.1 - DJ Turner5.14 - Devon Achane6.6 - JL Skinner6.16 - Siaki Aki7.1 - Zach Harrison7.8 - Kayshon Boutte Also added a 2025 1st for 33 overall. Priority 1 was adding our QBOTF and priority 2 was rebuilding our CB room. After that, it was trying to balance BPA and need/depth.

Top Gun: Maverick Let's be honest, half of you who went to see this movie expected corny dialogue, nostalgic music and flashback scenes, an incredible summer blockbuster from an action scene, and then you walked away hoping that the person next to you would turn to you and say something along the lines of "Okay, should we watch that again? I mean...am I crazy to say that this was not just a summer blockbuster, but a legitimately awesome movie, right? I mean...if you don't agree that's fine, but I think you're wrong." Stroud at #1 will largely depend upon the Panthers pick, but Witherspoon at #13 was like stealing money. Trading 33 for a 1st was a brilliant move. How Banks and Washington fell to you at those spots is also stealing value IMO. Mazi Smith and DJ Turner's stock seems to be trending up (albeit I don't see it with Turner personally) and a couple of late round fliers with a RAS freak in Harrison and a film standout but RAS dud in Boutte was well worth the low risk there. One great prospect after another during a weak draft class, much like how one film really stood out during a super dull movie period.

There are very few movies that hit me as hard on the first watch as the Matrix did. I'll never forget just how cool it was, how innovative the action and camerawork was. The rest of the Matrix movies are honestly **** but that first one, my god is it so good.
