But I would sit Parsons. I agree. But then I’d probably let him negotiate me down to getting in the game on anything 3rd & 7 or longer. What they did in the offseason at WR was gross negligence for a team trying to actually field a Super Bowl contender. It’d be one thing if Gallup wasn’t coming off the ACL injury.. but he was, and unfortunately has not been the same. Would have truly been disastrous had Lamb not ascended (to his credit). Neither should be expected to be a solid WR2. We need a rookie with potential or a stud FA.

WizardHawk
Definitely want a win and crack at #1 seed, but I’ll trade a win for a healthy team exiting game. Edited January 5, 2023 by WizardHawk

HDsportsfan
Since this topic has come up. Any word on Biadasz. No expectation of him playing this weekend but anybody seen an update on how long he'll be out? While I totally agree that none of our Wr group after Lamb has come close to performing like one would expect a 2 would. I stand by my comment that the performance of Gallup and Brown and company has not been “holding this team back” nor been any where near the top reason we lost 4 games this season. That is why I am not down on our WR core as much as others as we get the production from them as a “group” we need. It is more than just Brown or Gallup. Add in our three TE’s and Pollard to that receiving core and it is very good. IMO also I would say Brown and Gallup are for sure high level no 3 level as is TY. There is a reason this has been a top offense after Dak returned and it is the over all play of the supporting cast as much as the HQ play we get from CD. You… you don’t think Noah Brown has “been anywhere near the top reason we lost” to the Jags?

DaBoys
The 52 yard catch by TY is the longest catch of a Cowboys WR this season.

You get so used to them just being an auto-disaster at WR. In my lifetime, they’ve really never had stud except for T.O. Now they have 2.

Giving the WR group credit for our very impressive TE group is like giving the DTs credit for the pass rush generated by our DEs.
