JMD's offenses have always been pretty pass heavy and they had the second lowest passing volume of any team in the league and were a power running team with Cam. If BB is such a great offensive mind that's captaining the ship, why did the Patriots have such a dramatic drop off this season without him?

Because he's not as much of a failure as Matt Patricia.

Dude, it's MATT PATRICIA. If being better than Matt Patricia is all that you can muster, we may as well hire Matt Rhule and Bobby Petrino.

JMD is clearly a good offensive coach and play caller. Had the 6th best scoring offense in 2021 with rookie Mac and the 12th best scoring offense this year with bootleg Jimmy G aka Derek Carr.

One is a former league MVP that has completed 65% of his passes, the other was out of the league within 3 seasons and completed less than 50% of his passes.

The league is way more QB friendly and an MVP from several years ago doesn't impress me based on his body of work since.

Kurt Warner won 2 of the suckers, let's sign him. He's a former MVP, too.

If he's so good, why is he 17-28 as a HC?

Again, we didn't hire him to be a fancy OC. If he wants to be an OC, go back to New England and pray Tom comes back.

You think Tim Tebow in the current NFL would win an MVP and be on pace to get the biggest contract in NFL history?

Kurt would probably be an upgrade over DC, we should call him.

I don't think Lamar is a good fit for us but comparing him to Tebow is crazy talk.

I just said it's clear that he's a good offensive coach and play caller, his status as a head coach is still TBD.

Lamar was good last year though? He got hurt, but like... he was impressive? Why do you dislike him? If we added him and retained Adams and Waller it would be pretty insane.

No chance we're giving up 3 FRPs+ to acquire Lamar. The offense would be elite with him though.

Well I mean you could compare him to the former 2016 mvp that McDaniels actually coached last year. It’s all moot. The only way the Raiders get Lamar is if they are willing to pay him more than the Ravens, fully guarantee it and then ship Baltimore multiple first round picks. You guys have been playing too much Madden if you think there is a realistic chance of that happening. Lamar will stay in Baltimore. They aren’t about to blow up the roster and start a rebuild right after extending Harbaugh.

Okay?

Never said any of whatever that was. Just laughing at the comparison of Tim Tebow and Lamar Jackson.

Other than....that 1 playoff win, mobility, horrid accuracy, and near Jake Locker level mechanics requiring an offense to be absolutely tailored to their few strengths and hope that it can mask the glaring weaknesses....yeah nothing alike at all.

Horrid accuracy? Tim Tebow couldn’t even complete half his passes when no one was defending the pass. You’re putting Jake Locker’s, Tim Tebow’s, and Lamar’s accuracy/mechanics in a blender? Question if you even watch football, tbh. Tebow had the mechanics of a linebacker throwing the ball.

Lamar with Mac Jones’ legs is still a top 20 passer in this league. Tebow with his own legs wasn’t even a rosterable QB.

But, uh, sure…they can both run, I guess. Steve Young’s pretty comparable to Tebow in that regard too!
