Well, let me tell ya somethin', strangers. I recall a time not so lon ago when I met a peculiar fella by the name of Josh. Now, Josh was a cowboy, just like any other you'd come across in these parts. But there was somethin' strange about him, something that set him apart from the rest.

I must admit, I was a little taken aback by this statement. I'd never heard such a thing before. I asked him what he meant, and he told me that he was from the future. Can you believe that, strangers? A cowboy from the future!

I never forgot those words, stranger. They stayed with me, long after Josh rode off into the sunset. I've come to realize that Josh was right. In this life, a man's character is all he has. It's what sets him apart from the rest, and it's what people remember him by. I even practiced sayin' it just like that cowboy from the future!!

So, if you take nothin' else from this old coot, remember this: "Character is all a man has left in this world."
