They've given him every opportunity to correct it, but he can't stop leaking out the front hip. Better for him to go down, correct the stance and mash/build confidence at AAA than continue the struggle here and ride the bench against pitchers who profile sliders. I still cant fathom for the life of me why we keep trying o force him into RF. Why complicate the defensive side of the game when he clearly needs to keep working on the offensive side. And Ill never understand how he was ever a 3B prospect.

MOSteelers56
It's really nice to have a stopper like Gray in the rotation.

CWood21
I must have missed this, but Tink Hence had arguably his best game of his career so far on the 30th. 7 IP, 2 H, 1 R (1 ER), 10 K, 2 BB By far our best prospect, and not even close.

We're not a playoff team unless there's a massive overhaul, or players suddenly figure out how to play well. Honestly, the only players playing well besides Gray is Contreras, Winn, and Helsley. Arenado is starting to turn it around after a very sluggish start to the season.

And I do Think this is a 90 win squad with a good coach. That’s the problem though, we need to get rid of the entire coaching staff. It’s not working. Oli makes Mike Matheny look like a freaking mastermind.

We can't hit or pitch.

His return in a trade wouldn’t bump us to anywhere near contender either. You have an ace, trading him would be very dumb

If they aren't showing up prepared, as Oli has stated multiple times, that falls on the coaching staff. The only reason Oli still has a job at this point is because Mo is just as incompetent and can't admit another HC failure, but we aren't ever going to be a playoff team with Oli running the team.
