SemperFeist
I wonder if we’ll see a bidding war between Indianapolis and Cleveland for Dave Toub?

That I don't know, but Toub is more of an Andy Reid guy than a Dorsey guy. He also worked with Ballard in Chicago, so I'm not sure there'd be a war. SemperFeist
Darrell Bevell would be an interesting option in Cleveland? Or Kris Richard would certainly follow the common trend in the NFL.

vikingsrule
Cant see the Browns keeping Hue Jackson, he probably makes a lot of sense to replace Shurmur if needed. He's been a decent OC, nothing special, but the same was said for Shurmur last year.

He has gone from Assistant Head Coach > Assistant QB Coach > TE Coach > RB Coach > QB Coach. I thought he was working up a great resume to earn a potential HC/OC type job someday coaching and learning thru the process. Obviously doing something right sticking it thru the coaching changes, the team must like him and must be earning a ton of respect.

Crazy that he's been here since 2006. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2017/08/14/vikings-qb-coach-has-weathered-the-storm-in-minnesota/104596630/
Heimdallr
I'd just keep Stefanski as the OC. He apparently knows every position, seems to work great with Case, and he could just keep Shurmur's system rolling.
gopherwrestler
Sure... come to Minnesota to be some kind of defensive coach.. Our staff is always full of old head coaches. Always was a good defensive coor.
gopherwrestler
Also after this leaving.... this is the one team I fear would try and snag Pat Shurmur.....
Heimdallr
I can definitely see Marvin Lewis ending up here. Zimmer loves him, and no way he gets another HC job. He might not even want to coach anymore and would want more of a front office role. Maybe he could be a replacement for Paton?
