This team hasn't had a good OL for years. It's why Bergeron was the better choice over Mazi in the draft, but they went Mazi.

Biadasz was a pro bowl alternate by name only. He isn't very good. Tyron Smith has been dominant and then a turn style, dominant than a turn style. For years now.

Steele has been consistent. Martin is great but doesn't protect the way he used to. Tyler has promise but we were crowning him way too early. This line still needs work. It needs coordination. It needs a big upgrade at center and it needs to learn to protect better. You can't just blow off the line and power up for the run game every down.

I agree. The fact that the team would go with Mazi was mind boggling to me. Especially, when they had a trade offer on the table. Mazi was not worth the 26th pick. Dallas has ancient LT and a mediocre C. Their choice was to go with a DT and to ignore the RB position until the 6th round. Achane would've been really nice to have with our 2nd round pick.

Get off it all ready. The first 2 weeks were a mirage. This team and franchise has been a mirage since Johnson left. All the excuses, "Purdy had got probowlers up and down" " Shannahan knows DQs tendencies."

Are you freakin kidding me???

Ask yourself this, if this team was self sufficent, if they had they're own thing going on, if they were actually a good team, would any of that **** matter?

The teams that win in this league are the ones that everyone knows what is coming but can't freakin stop it anyway!

Our team CANNOT DO THAT! We are a mirage. "Lion hunter" "Hot boys" "Cee Dee Lamb and his booger 1st down." All a mirage.

Our season is over. We won't catch Philly now. Best we can hope for is another wildcard. And we ain't going to SF and Philly and winning in January.

Start thinking draft.

To add to this: McDaniel is a Shanahan disciple with much of the same principles. The skill talent, they sought out and maximized. In Dallas, we just mish-mosh a collection of talent and throw it all in a pot randomly.

We (essentially) release a top 15 WR route running phenom, and (eventually) replace him with an aging, undersized speedster after going a full season of saying we can just chug along with Noah Brown in his place.
There is no cohesive, clear vision as an organization. The organization marches to the beat of the owner’s ego and impulse. It’s a flat disaster and it starts at the top.

Agree 100%. They got rid of Cooper for no reason and haven't been able to replace him since. They released Zeke and expected Pollard and Deuce Vaughn to replace his production. These types of decisions effect how successful your coaches can be. Having an owner that plays GM and cannot get fired also effects your coaches. We will replace the HC, but they will ultimately fail as well due to the F.O. decisions and lack of talent.

The only way the Cowboys will win a SB is if they can out talent teams, which is nearly impossible to do in the playoffs.
