agarcia34
If the Raiders can’t get a deal done with the top 3 DTs. I would love for them to go after DJ Reader. Nothing like the other 3 but is a stout run defender

It’s a worry but when he’s healthy he’s a load to deal with and can anchor the middle of the defense. Should be able to sign him for a little less than he’s worth cause of the injury. Maybe smart for him to go with a one year deal and then go back into the market healthy next year

I’d say because Bill hasn’t really put a relevant team out there in a bit, while Tomlin has been having his team overachieve.

You can get run defenders off the scrap heap

Based on that logic why does AP have a job and Bill doesn't? He must be a better coach than Bill. In the one year Brady missed, Bill went 11-5 with Matt Cassell In the one year Big Ben missed, Mike went 8-8 with Mason Rudolph In the first two years post Brady the Patriots went 17-16 with one playoff berth In the first two years post Big Ben the Steelers have gone 19-15 with one playoff berth Who's to say that Bill even wanted to coach this year, lets see how long Tomlin can overachieve with no QB. I was waiting for this dumb argument. Because there's very sample size on him as opposed to Pierce or Mayo who replaced him. But that's a red herring. Not actually the question we're asking. We're asking out of the sample size of two people who have coached for over 10 years each, why is one still employed but the other one is not especially when the other one has way more rings. Nope I'm asking a simple question that hasn't been been answered: 2 coaches who have been in the league a long time. one is fired and isn't hired by any of the 7 teams w/ HC vacancies despite being highly decorated. The other keeps his job. Why is that?

Dude has been the head coach and GM for the most successful franchise in Sandler History over the last two decades plus. And we can’t ignore that Bill the GM was really the reason that Bill the HC career ended in New England. To ignore decades of success, third most wins ever, most Super Bowl appearances , most Super Bowl wins and say Tomlin is better because he’s currently employed is insane. NYRaider
Wilkins and his agent have to be absolutely licking their chops. He’s the only top tier DT hitting the market after the other top 2 guys just got historic deals. going to be a bidding war for him, he’s about to get paid. 100M+
