JarrodR86 Posted January 30 Share Posted January 30 I had a feeling Hondo was implying either Arthur Smith, Gase or Chip Kelly at OC.. 3 former head coaches with playcalling experience.. Arthur to Pitt, Gase would be pretty uninspiring, had one of the worst offenses in his time with the Jets.. Chip Kelly wouldn’t be bad imo, feel like he’d have something to prove coming back to the NFL.. and ucla had good offenses in 2021 and 2022. So I suppose at this point, either him or Kliff would give me more optimism than the McD/Hardagree led offense, or we wait for Kubiak if he’s even interested. I'd rather roll with AP for a year or two than give up gobs of money for an unknown OC who has never coached before.
