Pearsall on NFI list. Didn't see any indication of how long he may be there

Not a great day of news. I do wonder if Aiyuk trade request timing had to do with this information.

He was wearing a black jersey all off-season. What's his deal? Must be a shoulder injury. Nothing else makes sense

No such thing as bad press. You have to think the niners are actually not bothered by the media frenzy every off-season when it comes to these negotiations. You'd think this was a massive headache, but the niners are getting free publicity out of this. Literally every single sports talk show out there talked 49ers today. That is actually good for the brand.

While I'm here, I would like to say that I want to re-sign dmo this off-season. His price will only go up

I'm all about this. Between D-Mo and Mooney, I would pay Lenoir. He's been more durable, is younger, and has been on a good trajectory as far as performance.

Ditto.

And considering he can play both on the boundary and inside at nickel, it's a no-brainer for me really.

Yeah, I am on board with this as well.  Every positive thing I can think of about D-mo has already been said.

It feels weird that we all agree on this.

Which probably means it isn't going to happen...

Predicted 53 man roster after game 2:

QB: Purdy, Dobbs, Allen (3)

RB: CMC, Mason, Mitchell, Guerendo, Juice (5)

TE: Kittle, Saubert, Willis (3)

WR: Aiyuk, Deebo, Jennings, Pearsall, Cowing, Conley (6)

OL: Trent, Puni, Brendel, Banks, Burford, Feliciano, McKivitz, Moore (8)

Offense: 25

Specialists: Wish, Moody, Peppor (3)

Defense: Bosa, YGM, Jordan Eliott, Leonard Floyd, Robert Beal, Hargrave, Collins, Givens (9)

LB: Warner, Greenlaw, Campbell, Winters, Graham, Robinson (6)

CB: Yiadom, Green, DMO, Ward, Womack, Ya-Sin (6)

S: Hufanga, Odum, Mustapha, Brown (4)

Defense: 25

I think Latu is cut and picked up by someone else. I'll say Tonges will be on the practice squad. Not sure that Pline will make it to the PS.

Trent Taylor + 1 additional receiver will be the practice squad. I think it'll be someone like Bell, but if we are being honest, I'm kind of more interested in Tay Martin.

Had a tough time cutting Luter, but I think he's at the bottom of the cb grouping. Rock Ya Sin has been better. The question is if they want to cut Luter and his super cheap rookie deal for 3 more years for a vet minimum player signed for one year that they picked up late in free agency.

That 7th corner might is a tough cut.

The team is not going to cut Luter. They are high on him and he flashed some last week to show why the team is high on him.

Conley will likely not be picked up by another team if he is cut and put on the PS.

Trent Taylor needs to retire, he's not NFL caliber.
