Curious if it'll actually translate to any sort of loyalty (long-term deal for Josh Allen???) or Free Agency success. But it's certainly been a major point of emphasis to rehabilitate an already shaky reputation after the whole Urban fiasco. It really is a pretty sweet situation for a lot of players now. There's been massive investment in everything in improving this stuff, they've finally got a coach, owner's annoying kid finally ****ed off to do whatever. It's also a really intriguing place for players with no state tax and that rare chance at relative "anonymity". Pretty situational, with players (and their significant others) who want to live outside the big city limelight. Sacrificing all the haute couture lifestyle and wild nightlife for what is a bit of a hellhole in that regard. But the trade off is just a quiet affordable life outside the spotlight. The whole "London Thing" is a caveat, but i can see that going either way too. It's actually a pretty neat opportunity if so inclined. Go "see the world" and also get cheered for there? Not terrible. Their commitment to it also means it's probably an easier course than doing it on a one-off basis where things aren't extensively sorted out through experience. Especially as we start to see more international games potentially added to the schedule where teams and players really don't know what to expect nearly as much.
