Dr LBC Posted May 14 Share Posted May 14 Good calls with "Awnaw" (though to be fair it was the rock remix that made the Madden cut and not the out-and-out Nappy Roots track) and Tech N9ne (@Jeezla's mention) - though there were stronger Tech tracks that would have worked better (think they may just have wanted one they didn't have to edit the heck out of). Boo to any mention of Joe Budden - miss me with that stuff. Surprised "Bombs Over Baghdad" hasn't gotten a nod yet, especially considering how many OutKast fans we, at least used to, have on the site. I've still got a soft spot for "Young Wun Anthem" off M'05. M'04 still bangs for me, even though it always seemed to run banger, bleh, banger, bleh. 2002 is the soundtrack that still resonates with me because I can listen to it while doing other stuff and playing other games and it transitions seamlessly to utility. A lot of the EAtrax soundtracks just ended up coming across like Tony Hawk Pro Skater soundtracks - and there were better games in that genre (other extreme sports) that had soundtracks that resonated better with me: Dave MIrra Freestyle BMX - both soundtracks - and Cool Boarders 1, 3, and CB: Code Alien.
