You do eventually get to the whole thing. You start with the physical. Can he physically do what’s needed. 

Take your QB thing: Arm strength is nice but without touch, many throws are hard. 

CB: finding the ball is physical. The ability to turn, see the ball, not commit PI, not lose the WR, highpoint, track the ball. That’s all physical. It’s not a skill you learn. Either you can physically do all of that or you can’t.

I am truly expecting the Pittsburgh Steelers to pick him up. I know it doesn't answer our problems but honestly the more I think about it I feel like it's a smartest decision because he knows the defense he can give us a stop-gap option and it doesn't alter anything as far as a draft

Rogers was pretty bad last season after a decent '16. I was hoping he would progress instead of regress. Not a surprising move considering he is coming of an ACL injury. With rumors of the Steelers being interested in Tavon Austin he would be a major upgrade on Rogers.
