Trojan
What's Stroud going to be 10y/1billion? The rate these are going is insane. I can't wait to see what the Dolphins shell out for Tua I bet it's an insane number compared to if they just committed to him at any point in his career. I am also curious when a team is going to be faced with this sort of decision and without any other factors other than contract trade him to another team.

Either they made the smart move or this turns out to be a disastrous one IMO, so I'm going to enjoy the show. Really though, if he played well this year how much more would the cost have gone up? It would still be a market-altering deal, and it isn't like he'd suddenly jump to $70 million filly guaranteed per year with a great year. Just seems a little over-aggressive to me without a ton of upside. There's alot of upside. 15 million is about a Mid Tier starting wr I think. Jags are banking on him playing like the end of 2022 and beginning 2023 prior to the injury to Kirk.

I will concede the Jags were 6-2, but that’s a bargain at 55m a year?

Considering how everyone thinks this is a horrific deal(it's not). 50+ is the going rate for a starting QB now. Jags broke the wr market and now likely just broke the QB market. U forget how the jags missed multiple passing TDs cuz guys weren't getting their feet inbounds specifically Calvin Ridley and to a lesser extent Zay Jones.
