TBH, I questioned Payton not being able to get anything out of Wilson, and he compounded that question into ‘game has passed him by’ territory by drafting Bo Nix.

I despise Payton but I thought he did decent last year putting Russ in situations where he'd screw up as little as possible

Wilson had a pretty good season last year, considering that he's washed. I can't defend the Nix decision, though. Thus far, he doesn't look like an NFL starter, but that's on Payton for drafting him so high if he doesn't pan out.

Braelon Allen looks much more effective at getting yards when there isn't a hole.

He was wildly underrated as a draft prospect because his 40, but also because the Wisconsin OL has been overrated by NFL draftniks for a while now. He dealt with a ton of 8/9 man fronts, and almost never gave up big negative plays even when he was hit in the backfield.

He'll be a stud for you for a while.

It is wild to me that he was able to rebuild his value in Oregon.  Seeing him quite a bit at Auburn and against Georgia, it was not pretty.  He is not a good QB, and not being able to stretch the field in the NFL isn’t going to make him last long here.

Conversations need to be had about Jalen Hurts...

Im not watching the game just box score watching but when do the Eagles start thinking about cutting bait him? If it ever comes to that. They bailed on Carson Wentz after paying him as well.
