If the packers are serious about winning a chip they need to bench Love. Malik wins games. Jordan love is Dak 2.0 king of trash time stats. Down 29-0 and you start stat padding? Maliki would have won that game 17-3. Difference in leadership. If I’m GB I’m jumping Love in the parking lot and making sure he misses 7 months. Malik gives them the best chance to win.

3-0 with Malik 0-2 with the Love sofa.
Women lie, men lie but numbers never do.

winning games

pretty stats taking Ls

Smoothbrain take. I think love should have sat another week given what he looked like early, but once he’s good to go he’s easily our best chance this season.

Biting on 2 decent games with the playbook pared down? Completely unserious post

The chargers started the air raid offense.
sam Bradford ran in it college and in the NFL. What do you mean it would never work? The Chargers literally showed it could with that goated offense. Fouts and co put some numbers up.

That wasn't the Air Raid. 🙃

Exactly, Love is way better than Willis. Let’s not forget Willis was ok in his first start, nothing more. He then played the Titans annd played very well but unfortunately for him and every other QB in this league, he won’t have the luxury of playing them every week. Comparing Love after a game against the Vikings and Willis after a game against the Titans and saying they have a better chance with Willis is ridiculous 😂

Credit to @J-ALL-DAY in the niners forum who mentioned the niners offense humming along (although somewhat clunkily) with a 7th round QB, UDFA RB & 7th round WR as the main targets (Purdy, Mason, Jennings). Not to mention the 5th round TE (Kittle)

Although our two best pure offensive players are still CMC (injured) & Trent who were both top 10 picks

Why do people act surprised? Purdy is really good.

@Forgedo niner fans not like him? I’ve been so high on him since his rookie year. I knew he was a stud. Like what’s the deal! Is it 50-50? I’ve never seen a fan base so split on a qb.

I think it's more surprising for others. Non 49er fans have some pretty wide opinions of Purdy. Based on my experience, I think Packers fans on this site think he sucks, for example lol

Out of the 49ers board, I think its fair to say that I'm the least all in on Purdy, and that's really still based on the sample with less than idyllic conditions. I mean, even I still think he's good. Maybe there's a non regular that thinks worse of him, I dunno.

You get to the twitter and I think it's a bigger sample of people who aren't as smitten with Purdy in 49er fandom, but I still think those guys are a minority. The majority of the voices still come from other teams.

And while former athletes / QBs tend to love Purdy (Kurt Warner, Chase Daniel...notable exception being Chris Simms), there's a decent contingent of NFL writers who don't think highly of him at all. Charles Macdonald is not a fan, I'm pretty sure. Steven Ruiz pretty famously doesn't like Purdy. I don't know if he's changed his opinion, but I know last year Nate Tice thought purdy was a guy he wouldn't give a second contract to. Others, like Matt Harmon and Derrick Klassen, started coming around after they had to start charting the 49ers, but at best they are more like, "I kind of get it" now.
