Mind Character
This one game shouldn't be overweighed in the context of Baker's stellar career. Just as the bowl game for Sam shouldn't have been the deciding confirmatory evidence of whatever one's opinion is. Baker has played up and down...more down than up. Really good QB...likely will have some success on the next level, but he's a tier below Rosen and Darnold...and they have their own issues. Aztec Hammer
I don't wish for any player to flop or get exposed a bit or whatever, but if it has to happen, I'm glad it does in his final college game for Oklahoma rather than his first pro game for the Browns. Bonanza23
Btw people need to remember this is just one game. Have to judge him on the whole body of his career. Either way
Mind Character
It's the Flu's fault...he is QB1...look at the box score before this game and tell me otherwise... Boxscore is all
Aztec Hammer
Completely agree. I am glad though that we get to see him against strong fronts like this one.

candyman93
Horrible run defense from both teams. However, both teams offensive lines are doing a great job.
candyman93
I’m not gonna kill Baker tonight. He’s taking what Georgia is giving him. He wants to win more than impress the scouts.
Mind Character
As I said before this game, scouts will be looking at which QB is making audibles and calls at the line. Baker has all these things taken out of his hands as Lincoln Riley's offense is majority a "check with me" offense. Though not necessarily Baker's fault it does speak to his current skill set or more accurately his experience to get an offensive in and out of bad play calls. It's a beautiful offensive scheme, but is a ready to bake paint by the numbers offense from the QBs perspective. Darnold also doesn't have the full reigns of the offense to make adjustments. Rosen is light years ahead in that category. That part of the game is often the difference between winning and losing on the next level.
OttoGrahamsGhost
I agree but what I’ve seen from Mayfield all year is what I’m seeing tonight. Can’t hit covered receivers with accuracy. Most yards are coming from underneath routes. Haven’t seen him get this much pressure in his face and I think that’s the difference.
candyman93
I’ve been very wrong about Georgia this year. They can EASILY win it all.
