Norman as the clear CB1. Moreau and Dunbar battle as the CB2 and CB3. Holsey and a late draft pick or lower-tier FA as darkhorse competition for a larger role. A bit of a gamble, but with good safeties and a top 10 defense in pass rush % per snap, you don't need amazing CBs across the roster. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
aceinthehouse Posted March 11, 2018 Share Posted March 11, 2018 I would target The Honey Badger or DRC for a couple reasons. 1)They both can play outside or the Nickel slot. 2)They both can move to FS in many formations. (the g-men were wanting DRC to move to FS and take a salary cut) 3)It would eliminate the need of drafting a CB or S in the 1st rd. (Although I would still draft James if he were available) This would allow us to focus squarely on DT, RB, G, & WR high in the draft. like Vita or Payne Sutton or Ridley (I do not want to draft WR in 1st rd, but ill list them) Guice or Michel, etc (deep--which is why I wait till 2nd rd on rbs) Nelson or Wynn (nelson in 1st...but..wynn in 2nd) Which leaves Vita or Payne at 13 (probably to high for Payne) Which means I think Vita Vea is the guy. Honeybadger would be the best move he's ever done imo . as for DRC dude is still good and can play the slot . Tall and very fast he can be had pretty cheap imo.
