Sounds Brownsesque to me. 20 minutes ago, vinceb said: Bleacher report 1. S. Barkley 4. M. Fitzpatrick db bama. 33. C. Sutton wr s.m.u. 35. M. Andrews te okla. 63. L. Jackson qb 65. J. smokeybandit
I know it's a popular pick for the Browns to draft a RB early, but I just don't see it. The Browns were 2nd in the league in YPC. Rushing really wasn't their problem.

tom cody
I think the Browns should go BPA at 1 and get their QB at 4, Barkley/ new QB would be a great way to kick off another new era in Cleveland.
BleedTheClock
Taking Barkley at #1 is extremely dumb, even if he's as good as he's supposed to be. He isn't worth the #1 pick despite being one of the best RB prospects ever. Not for this team, that has the worst QB situation every single year and in a draft where there are several good ones. ...and then we take Lamar Jackson? There aren't enough bullets in the world to shoot into my skull if this happened.

BleedTheClock
Also, there's like a 60% chance that Barkley is available at #4. The first 2 picks are going to be QB's. I'd say the likelihood of this is around 90%. Then comes the Colts. They are very likely to trade their pick to someone trying to leapfrog the Broncos/Jets. I'd say there's a 45% chance they trade that pick and it becomes a QB. If the Colts stay put, I think it's 50/50 whether or not they'd take Chubb or Barkley. The Colts don't really need offense. Their defense is a travesty to humanity. I can't imagine they pick a RB with all of the other holes they have on their team. Yeah they need a RB, but in the grand scheme of things, their defense is just too bleh.

I think that Saquon Barkley has the best odds of going in the 4-7 range, because I could see the loser of the Broncos/Jets QB sweepstakes (Cousins, draft, or otherwise) landing him, if not the Browns at 4 assuming they go QB at #1. Tampa Bay could get him at #7, but I don't think they will. I don't see a chance of him getting past Chicago at 8.
