Cheap sons of *******, surprised nobody mentioned this.

How much money did they cut this offseason? They saved around $50m moving on from Santana, Lindor, Cookie, and Hand. And they just invested $15m with Cesar and Rosario, yep the Dolan’s aren’t cheap anyone...

So is this a good move or no?

Don’t understand the Rosario signing.

Just commit to tanking and try to do what the Astros did.

Indians have too good of pitching to tank tho. Thats the issue. If you fully tank, you potentially poison the water and make those pitchers not want to resign. What does tanking do right now? It hurts our stellar pitching staff that wont be rewarded by the tank cause whatever stud prospect the Indians get in the draft, they wont make it to the bigs for 6 years. The FO will be handcuffed when they can call them up because they need the service years control. The indians teams could have been better the past 2 seasons if they would have called up some of their top prospects but they know they cant start their contract clocks yet

good move, yes. But to make a comment where comes off as "Who says the Dolan's dont spend money, they just dropped $8m on this OF" is off putting

Cesar passed his physical.

Also, just a prediction, but Josh Wolf will be the best player we got for the Lindor trade. This franchise can be 100% trusted when it comes to finding pitchers.

It’s the Cleveland method/model: Trot out one of the best starting Pitching Rotations and back them with an AA/AAA level offense

Agreed

Yes, trading Cookie sucks from a morale perspective. However, I have 100% confidence they can replace his production.
