That could take some time. I think it’s tought. First MLB game in 2 years and one that was kinda forced so he wouldn’t have to burn an option. I want to see how he Looks his next couple of games. Just turn him into a Bullpen arm

He is a solid fielder and is a great rotational match-up dependent guy. I view him as the new Brandon Guyer

I’m gonna be very interested to see how Kluber performs. Him coming back, he should have a very well rested shoulder. Past 3 seasons. They have pitched into November and October and came right back in February and started working again. Now he barely played early on and has had close to 3 months of rest on that shoulder. So potentially he could come back the healthiest he has been in awhile cause he didn’t put any wear and tear on his body outside of that forearm. Also his back has been an issue for him the past 2 post seasons, that it kinda broke down when it came to the playoffs cause of all the regular season pitching. He might not need a lot of time to get ready because it wasn’t a ligament issue injury and the injury was to the forearm so he could have been doing exercises to keep the shoulder in shape. He might not be a ace type pitcher when he comes back but really we just need a 2/3 type pitcher. Heck, he spends the end of the season getting back into shape and maybe he is ready to hit the ground running right when the playoffs start Edited August 2, 2019 by buno67

Wilis isnt some scrub tho. He had CC and Lee winning Cy Youngs under him. Did great things with Fausto Carmona or whatever his name is now. Did great things with Westbrook too. Bieber and Plesac are looking great under him
