so wilk has a 5m cap hit.. let's assume jimmy is like 10m in the first year.. how much money we got to play with still?

Currently has about 30.5.

Wilk takes 5.

Graham takes 10. (I think this is high, I'm guessing closer to 7.5)

Draft takes 2.5.

Rollover takes 5. (This one is pending. Thompson used to do 7.5-8)

You're looking at 8 million left.

Spend another 2 mil and bring Jahri Evans back, that's an easy decision for me

Got to get a playmaker at WR in the draft. Not many appealing contracts there.

There aren't many in the draft either. Ridley will probably be over drafted. Numerous teams have shown you don't need a Jerry Rice to be productive

Gotta believe the sense of urgency to get Rodgers deal done just increased

If Graham gets 10 I'm gonna puke. Wish we would have signed Cook instead of letting him walk

$10M/yr average, or if he's a $10M cap hit?

I wouldn't be surprised to see him get $8M - $9M per, he was the top TE available, and the Packers weren't the only team pursuing him.

Hey MM said he was scrapping the playbook and starting from his roots right? Bring Janis back and work him in.

That's cover 3?  That's zone.

Yes. They run cover 3 which is zone. But they or at least Jackson does press and bail technique. Which before the ball is snap he shows press man coverage... opens up his hips and kinda of steps backs like it might be off man... to only run back to his spot.

A clever way to make him not need to back pedal in zone.

Remember dude was a WR. Probably better as a forward moving athlete at this point than a backwards pedaling once.

*edit: which is why everyone says he is a zone corner. Because his speed and playmaking comes out of that. But his traditional technique in the back pedal hurts him.... but he doesn’t have the pure speed to be a man corner (like a shields) so that hurts him there. So he is weird haha

Kelce is at 9.3 so I can't see how you would pay Graham more. I'm not as high on him as most. Everyone wants to blame Seattle for his drop in production while ignoring he's the same age as Jordy with a lot of miles on that body

Well, Trey Burton got 8 mil/year.  Then again Cameron Brate got like 4 mil/year or something really cheap.
