How do we make cap space? Who should be cut?

From Jamison Hensley's ESPN feed:

"Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome on whether cornerback Brandon Carr will be on the 2018 team: "Brandon played very well for us, and he's been very, very good in our locker room."

vs

"Ravens general manager Ozzie Newsome said no decision has been made on the future of wide receive Jeremy Maclin. The Ravens can create $5 million in cap room by cutting him. "We have some decisions we have to make over the next two weeks," Newsome said.

So, that sounds like what we are expecting.

I say just cut Maclin, Woodhead, and possibly Webb. That should give us enough to get a good WR, resign Jensen, and get a starting caliber ILB. Then next year cut Jimmy, Carr, Howard, and Weddle. We’ll have a mountain of cap space

Cutting Maclin, Perriman, Woodhead, Carr, McClellan, and Webb would create almost $18 mil in cap space. Do that.

That inside linebacker spot is the somewhat forgotten position IF we don't get a Derwin James. Bam Bradley, Onwuasor, Correa are the only real candidates.
