Why didn't the ref stop the Reyes/OSP fight with 5 seconds left? He was out cold/limp

Think it was less than 5 seconds left, it was right at the bell. Even though it changed nothing, it definitely should have been called a KO. If the guy's out he's out, doesn't matter if the bell has gone

It’s being rumored this did 3 Million PPV buys which would put it behind only May-Pac (4.6) and May-McGregor (4.4).

Honestly it could be argued Conor is the biggest draw in combat sports history. Might be an outrageous comment but the numbers certainly back it up.

Hahaha this is whats some bull. Connor took a freaking metal dolly and injured two fighters and gor nothing but khabib confronting some mother running chumps and he deserves punishment

Conor did it at a press conference and was punished by the police, he was arrested and in jail over night and is likely going to have to pay hefty lawsuits because of it. The NSAC needs to show they have a no tolerance for behavior like this at events, tons of people, including fans, could have been seriously hurt. When you have a trained fighter literally jumping full speed into the crowd near a group of fans going after someone you're risking the health and well-being of the fans in attendance. Not to mention Khabib's decision set off a chain reaction as his goon corner men attacked Conor in the cage and there were a number of fights and absolute chaos in the crowd.

If Khabib isn't punished what's stopping the next fighter from doing the same thing? Will it take a fan getting killed for the commission to step in?

We have a lot of arm chair journalist on the forum and ethics experts but the bottom line is this: The NSAC reviewed all of the footage, Conor received his pay check, Khabib did not. Conor is in the clear, Khabib is not. Khabib is likely going to be fined and suspended, Conor is not.

But, but, but Khabib was justified in jumping full speed into the crowd to attack Conor's teammate he can't control himself!

Nobody claimed Khabib was justified. A lot of people claimed Conor was viciously jumped after doing nothing. The video proved that was not true. I don't know why the Conor fans are so desperate to make excuses for his role in what went down. The whole "but he's a showman" argument is total BS.

Khabib jumped into the crowd to attack his teammate, Conor's wife and 10 month old son were in the crowd near Danis, Conor tried to hop the gate and was pulled back. Conor threw a 25% speed slap at Khabib's teammate looking to hop the gate and go after Danis as well, again, who was near his wife and child. Does that justify Khabib's other teammate running full speed at Conor to throw a punch while his other teammate sucker punched him from the back? Or the final teammate bum rushing him when he was just standing there?

FF where if you throw a small slap in the defense of your teammate and to keep someone else from potentially hurting your wife and child you deserve to be bum rushed by three grown men after a 20 minute fight. If someone were going after your best friend who was standing near your wife and child, his friend tries to come and jump in, you push him away, would you think it's justified if 3 of his friends bum rushed you?

Typical load of BS from the McGregor crowd. There's always an excuse. For all we know, his teammate was going to try and pull Khabib away from the crowd prior to Conor trying to fight the guy. Nothing is ever Conor's fault. He was the poor guy that got jumped . . . and now that we know that he actually started the fight ("push him away" looooooooooooool), he was just trying to save his family. Suuuuuuure.

Khabib jumped into the crowd and did a flying kick at a fan in a crowd of fans. How is that Conor's fault?

Now back to the fight itself, so Khabib did exactly what he said he was going to do and more(clipping Conor on the feet was the extra)

Conor looked terrible, timing was off, striking looked meh, and he also appeared to have made no real progress with his grappling. It seemed like as soon as his gameplan didn't work he knew he had no chance.

Would love to see him fight Pettis in the spring and then potentially the Diaz trilogy fight. I don't see anyway that he beats Khabib or Ferguson at this point.

Each man is to blame for his own conduct. Yet, you and many others have tried to excuse what Conor did.
