  1. Yes but bad decision making has been a favre thing since the 80s. See his near death incident while probably drunk at college. https://www.sportskeeda.com/nfl/it-embarrassing-humiliating-when-brett-favre-s-sexting-scandal-took-nfl-storm-forcing-league-slap-50-000-fine-qb "During his time with the jets he also allegedly sent sexual texts to massage therapists and then caused them to lose work by not adhering to his specific requests" Favre the OG massage therapist harassment specialist. He walked so Deshaun could run. Tua should retire but the desire to play football as well as "not quit" will probably be the decision that keeps him playing until he medically can't (which for medical reasons there isn't a threshold) concussions vary a lot and while we have no idea of the severity of Tua's I'd wager they're on the worse end. But the decision is Tua's and Tua's alone. Let the doctors say their piece, let everyone else say theirs etc but the decision should rest with him. Hope he plays a long and healthy career and gets Miami their first playoff win or even a ring.
  2. Vinny Testaverde is a sneaky pick for the 90s but I feel like it's 1. Young. Favre may have the welfare funds but young has the better film tbh. 2. Favre (Had the stats and the MVPs but Young just has the better eye test) 3. Kelly (4 super bowls is ****ing peak even if he threw away the last 3) 3.5 Marino 4. Warner (it may have been one year but what a YEAR) 5. Aikman (The Dak prescott of the 90s, good post-season runs though) 6. Testavarde (if he won a ring I'd say he was better than aikman lmao had some much better years though)
  3. Homie took 60+ sacks as a rookie to be called fragile.
  4. brett is morally corrupt that's a character thing not a brain damage thing. Also he didn't steal it. He just simply borrowed it and never paid some of it back because the debt is still partially accruing interest until he pays it back in full. Hell he was doing Mississippi a service by stealing borriwng money from the poor, what are they gonna use it for? FOOD? Pfffft.
  5. people act like his career is over as if Brett "the concussion man" didn't have over 1,000 in his career. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/brett-favre-gives-frightening-answer-when-asked-how-many-concussions-he-suffered-during-his-nfl-career/
  6. Meh JaMarcus was just a lazy scrub who never put it together, the year after Russel was cut the raiders went 8-8. Don't think talent was the problem so much as the coaching and his work ethic and lack of it. Russell Wilson had a hof esque career being 5'11 and drew brees is 6'0 (really 5'11 because he got measured in cleats) 1 inch in height does not make a difference in how good of a QB you can be. Kyler Murray fans.....listen we hear you. But you need to speak LOUDER we can't hear you from down there.
  7. LONG LIVE HUNTLEY. LET THIS MAN THRIVE. Enjoy the 9-8 season dolphins fans.
  8. Nah Russel legit was the problem (No work ethic, lazy etc.) Young is not the problem in Carolina, terrible coaching and a terrible offensive line, Frank Reich didn't want him and ownership did. To anyone saying "Young is clearly the problem" you are thrown into the worst situation possible, take 60 sacks year one, go out their and have 1-2 good games (2 4thQB Comebacks in their only wins last year) coach gets fired mid-season and you're just supposed to role with it. Year 1 is a wash. Year two, Carolina spends a ****ton of money on guards, cool, you get smacked in the mouth week 1 and don't focus on fixing your core issues week 2 (RUN THE GOD DAMN FOOTBALL) Week 2 you run the football and get away from it because it's a blowout and Bryce has to play hero ball. This is literally a coaching problem from day 1 and yeah of course young's not gonna play well if no one else on the panthers is ****ing play well or trying. The defense sure as **** ain't.
  9. We should've kept MacDonald's man.....oh well at least we got John Hardballs. Either we right the ship this year or the ravens need to have a serious discussion about harbaugh's successor. (We let him walk out the ****ing door)
  10. The NFL doesn't get to decide lol. An independent arbitrator the NFL and NFLPA agrees on gets to decide if the NFL even wants to dig up the corpse of this story since this would immediately go to court since the NFLPA would view this as a breach of their prior settlement , likely they'll just "investigate" and let Watson settle in civil court and let it go unless there's evidence compelling enough to get more media attention on this. Whoever her lawyer is, is doing this to get media attention to get Watson to settle or force his lawyers to the table to settle etc. Watson's beyond a reprehensible human being but at this point the only thing that takes him down is a criminal conviction and despite attempts nothing has risen to that level. Unless there's newer more recent incidents that haven't come out yet he'll come out scot free. Worst case he has enough money to feed his lawyers to keep him out of any real harm. It's the courts that the NFLPA would hash out the settlement with the NFL through not the NFL's vague personal conduct policy which would only apply to a new offense. tldr; Deshaun watson should be in jail and until there's new incidents post his "rehab" phase he'll continue to skate unless there's damning evidence to force the media or the NFL/Legal systems hand.
  11. He is and was guilty by NFL standards. https://www.nfl.com/news/browns-qb-deshaun-watson-suspended-11-games-fined-5-million-following-settlement There is no more investigation to come. It's over he was punished for all of the allegations at the time and likely can't be punished for any further events from that timeframe. The NFL has zero interest in digging this corpse back up and trying to re-punish watson for something he already did. Even if it's just now coming to light i guarantee you the NFLPA settlement between him and the NFL covers any and all future allegations from X timeframe or X incidental period cannot be further used to punish X client. It's news, but it's not new news. It's just another victim coming forward to get compensation for their suffering, hopefully it's settled quickly and given sufficient enough media coverage to remind everyone Deshaun Watson should be in jail right now.
  12. https://www.si.com/nfl/2022/06/15/deshaun-watson-cases-houston-pd-detective-testified-believes-he-committed-crimes tldr; he's morally guilty but legally innocent since two grand juries failed to indict him (Fair it's very hard to get a jury of peers to go to trial over a he vs. she x 22 said.) It varies by incident but the pattern is clear he's a sexual predator. And like 90% of sexual predators he will face no repercussions outside being out like maybe 20 million? Big whoop when he's gonna make like $300,000,000-ish million during his career.
  13. Real Name: Venom Nickname: The Freak Height: 5'9 Weight: 185 Style: Showboat I'm not a monster so I found a copy/paste video This game desperately needs WWE's upload your own superstar thing.
  14. And now the predator roams the streets of cleveland.... Seriously wonder how long before we get a media report of the pattern continuing in cleveland. Fr though the Browns are stuck with him until 2026 so good luck cleveland.
  15. So what you're saying is the browns can cut deshaun after this year and be fine? <- The Average browns fan who is praying for a miracle but miracles don't happen in cleveland.....Massages do.
  16. Meh I trust the packers coaching staff to see something in a QB over a dude they spent a year with as their backup.
  17. Yeah offenses with establish identities and systems that work outside the QB (KOC is the McVay tree after all), LeFleur's offense leans a lot of the QB audibling and adjusting the play to get the best matchup possible. Especially with a younger offensive core outside of Jacobs. Willis will do fine and Ryan Tannehill's corpse can remain rotting.
  18. Yeah and those guys both came in when their starters went down for the season and the team was struggling to find a decent QB. You just need a guy to FILL IN and be the backup for the year, you're not finding that guy on the street and the packers already committed to willis (yeah he was bad as a rookie QB...who isn't unless they have talent around them or good coaching) either he thrives or they turn to clifford and Willis is his backup.
  19. Xbox wants to release hardware in 2026 but they'd have to make a compelling case for it....not sure they have the sauce for that. Switch is basically guaranteed to launch by June 1st of 2025, PS6 is likely 2028 right now since sony will wanna give pro owners at least 4 years of a useable console.
