Ty Lue is an idiot that shouldn't be a Head Coach. He's contributed nothing positive to this team during his tenure here, except for randomly inserting Mo Williams into the game as an extra shooter during Game 6 and Game 7 of the NBA Finals two years ago. The guy hasn't figured out how to draw up a play or create any semblance of defensive rotation.

Coach LeBron chose him to be his assistant.

other guys are capable of scoring. Lebron likes having the ball at all times and hes teh best at it, but hill or clarkson could run some stuff for 5 minutes here and there and love could handle the coring load for a while. if born not having the ball and running the ball for 5 more minutes meant he would actually try on defense im sure the cavs could get by.

This this and more this. Cavs 11 open shots to Celtics 42 open shots. The LeBron offense for defense combo isnt working on.

Ty Lue gets a bad rep honestly. He's like LeBron's pet golden retriever. His job is to be generally enthusiastic, but not actually manage or do anything productive. When LeBron has a bad game, Ty Lue is supposed to walk up to him nodding like "Hey man, you're my favorite. Go get 'em tomorrow. Love you buddy." Also, like golden retrievers, he struggles with screens.

Clarkson can't run the offense though, at least not at this level. He's had plenty of chances to prove himself but he has been downright awful.

Hill could run it more than he has been given the opportunity to do so, and they should look to run some pick and rolls between him and Love.

Overall though, this team just doesn't have another shot creator from the perimeter minus Hill in spots. Clarkson/Hood aren't either ready for the moment, or are getting exposed by the playoff physicality.

LeBron should be operating more from the post, but at this point you just have to accept it not happening.

I don't envy any team that has to rely on JR Smith to give them some production on a nightly basis. Like seriously, would he even be in the rotation of the remaining playoff teams?

When was the last time your golden retriever looked at you like this?

Here we can see Head Coach LeBron James making a change in Lue's rotation:

This looks like my old Golden Retriever (her name was Ginger) trying to eat her bone:

Iman Shumpert even thought Lue was playing fetch with his Golden Retriever:

He shouldn't be in the rotation. Cavs didn' want the dude. LeBron stepped in. And I disagree with Clarkson not being able to get his shot. You just got to run something other than Iso for him to get it.

They have ran pick and rolls for Clarkson and even ran him off screens, but dude has been trash. He's also a huge black hole offensively and doesn't pass anyone the ball. So if you aren't scoring and not passing while dominating the ball? That's a recipe for disaster.

Rodney Hood being THIS bad has been surprising though. I always thought he was a solid player, but the one problem with him is they just give him the ball and clear out. He's not that type of player. Your criticism for what the Cavs aren't doing for Clarkson actually applies more to Hood. Do they ever run this guy off any screens or pin downs? It's not like he was this awesome isolation player in Utah. And at this point he is so shook, he is forcing everything.

I guess one of the reasons you have to rely on JR Smith so much is because of what Hood is not giving you. So they are kind of forced to to used him even if they don't want to. Korver was good offensively but is a liability on the other end. One team has multi-dimensional two way players, while the other team has one dimensional specialists.

@MWil23 LeBron knows that in order to really make sure you have a good boy, he needs a job to keep him occupied. That was the human being equivalent of chasing the mailman or making sure the back yard doesn't have any squirrels.

I'd like to think that this is the equivalent of LeBron potty training Ty Lue:

"LeBron...it's been a long day."
"Who's a good boy?"
"LeBron...I'm not in the mood."
"Who's a good boy!?"
"I am."
"Yeah? Are you a good boy?"
"YEAH I'M A GOOD BOY."
"Now go out there and give us a pre-game speech"
"WOOF WOOF"
