Because the only other sport that’s on is baseball.

That's a good one.

However, I could just play Dark Souls or Donkey Kong...

Because the Warriors are really good and LeBron is a goddamn super hero?

So what are some legit reasons to actually watch this?

It'd be pretty funny to see Steph miss out on another finals MVP. Warriors fans would be so salty if KD won it lol

Alright, didn't know where to post this, but there has been a lot of debate the last few days in what LeBron's biggest accomplishment is and a lot of folks rightfully mention the 2016 finals or getting to the finals in 07.

My biggest pet peeve is how folks always mention the 07 playoff run as it was some great miracle. LeBron was good, really good, but he was far from special that postseason. They just matched up very well against the Pistons due to their defense, and they had a MUCH better Pistons team on the ropes the season prior. Obviously game 5 will forever go down as one of the greatest individual performances of all time in any sport, but that game alone has skewed the thinking of many. Do people not remember how bad the East was that season? Miami completely fell apart after winning a cship, and the PIstons were not the same team after losing Ben Wallace. LeBron has had so many better playoff showings than 07 throughout the years but maybe not as many great opponents as that one. In 2011 they did beat two beasts in the Celtics/Bulls back to back to get to the finals. Aside from that it was one really good team and a bunch of mediocre squads. He was so much better this postseason than in 07. And faced even more adversity being on a team that has been super inconsistent and just not a good defensive team (though better in the playoffs). Oh yeah, then you have Chris Broussard saying that New Jersey Nets team with Kidd/VC/Jefferson was so much better than any squad LeBron beat this year as if that was a good team. What kind of revisionist history BS is this? They had the names, but that team was mediocre as ish. Like they were mediocre as hell in every which way. Who cares that they had the names, they weren't anything special. It wasn't a big accomplishment at the time when the Cavs beat them. In fact, the Wizards were seen as a bigger threat that postseason.

idk if there's a convo if LeBron wins this

To say there would be no conversation even if LeBron wins this season is laughable. Michael Jordan will ALWAYS be in the conversation regardless of what LeBron does. If he does in fact beat the Warriors with this supporting cast, it would be SUPER impressive and his best accomplishment to date. However, that't not going to take away from Jordan accomplished during his illustrious career. LeBron has had far more suspect or downright awful moments than Jordan ever had, but he will also have beaten better teams in the finals. Right now you will be hard pressed to find many that will put LeBron over Jordan, but if he beats the Warriors, that gap will certainly start closing in a big way.

The Stanley Cup Finals dream matchup: Ovie getting his first vs. Vegas making history says hi.

And don't forget the French Open with Rafael Nadal competing to get his eleventh major at the same event to tie any player in history in wins at a single Grand Slam Final. Of course, Novak Djokavic, Andy Murray and Rodger Federer are all not competing and Stan Wawrinka and Juan Martin Del Potro are both injured and out of form...
