I think Jefferey is a more talented pure receiver, but he can't stay on the field, which isn't a good longterm option. There's a good reason he had to sign a 1 year deal this off-season. The same can not be said for corner where we probably have the worst group of corners in the NFL. Currently our perception is that we're strong at WR but if god forbid Alshon gets another nagging injury we're then starting Smith and Agholor. Doesn't seem as strong. Note: I'm not arguing the fact that we needed a CB, I'm also not arguing that Darby isn't more valuable than Matthews.
