Culture is such an underrated aspect of the HC's job. Just look at the nightmare jobs the Hue and Tomlin did this year. Hue was a complete embarrassment.... and Tomlin. Tomlin managed to let his entire team air out dirty laundry, Bell is gone, Brown wants out (and literally almost killed a child), Ben wont STFU. A very toxic culture. We had a toxic culture too under camp cupcake. He is the exact opposite of Garrett. Wade was awesome at X's and O's - - terrible at everything else a HC needs to do. Seriously, if there’s one thing that we all overlooked in the post-Jimmy years was the criticality of a strong culture. The irony is that Pittsburgh, New England, and Baltimore were the three benchmark organizations for having strong cultures, and only Baltimore remains. Pittsburgh has turned into a heaping dumpster fire, and New England is imploding. If we had anything remotely close to strong cultures during the Romo years, he would’ve been a much more successful QB, and we would’ve been a much more successful team.
