Do you guys think we should also make a "Has Dak fixed Amari Cooper? thread"

His production is like double maybe even triple since he's been paired with Dak!

More like, has Zeke fixed Cooper.  They are still stacking the boxes and leaving him manned up

haven't we already gone through this? Zeke doesn't face that much more stack boxes than any other running back.

Your eyes, buddy. Use your eyes. On those deep balls to cooper, how many guys were covering him?  The announcers were even saying, man I bet the Colts don't leave him manned up like this...

Having said that, that is the typical Eagles scheme.

Jason Garrett was asked this on victory monday:

How have Ezekiel Elliott and Amari Cooperhelped each other in the offense?

Amari is new to the team, but has been embraced because of the kind of guy he is, plus his performances. He is getting integrated quickly. The more weapons you have the better. Starts with run and pass. With Zeke defenses have to find him, impacts the coverage, how they run the coverages, how many guys on the line of scrimmage, but it also works the other way. The impact of Amari makes them make different choices, if you double him then others get opportunities in the run and pass game.

Lol well no sh!t Garrett. I doubt he would be embraced as fondly if he only had like 2 catches for 10 yards.

The Oakland Raiders traded two star players this year. Both are now flourishing elsewhere.

Khalil Mack is a Defensive Player of the Year candidate for the playoff-bound Chicago Bears. Amari Cooper has completely revitalized the Dallas Cowboys, surging America's team to the brink of the NFC East crown.

Raiders owner Mark Davis was specifically asked Wednesday at the NFL's Winter League Meeting about the mid-season trade of Cooper to Dallas for a first-round pick.

"In the future, we might be saying, 'Damn!'" Davis said, via the Dallas Morning News.

I loved John Gruden’s comments on how difficult it is to find quality pass rushers and quality wide receivers in this league. I literally LOL’d. I was like, “Well gee, John, if only you had some of those. Your team would be so much better.....”

According to Cooper, it wasn't Gruden. He says the only reason they made the trade is because we were so bad.

"Cooper said Gruden nor then general manager Reggie McKenzie made the decision to trade him. It was Davis and Davis alone.

He said Gruden didn’t even know about the trade and it was one that McKenzie didn’t want to make.

But once Cowboys owner Jerry Jones offered a 2019 first-round pick, Davis overruled every one, per Cooper “They were getting calls about a first for next year and they weren’t going to do it,” Cooper said. “But when Jerry Jones called about a first for this year he felt he had no choice.”

That pick was a possible Top-10 selection when the trade was made as the Cowboys were 3-4 and became 3-5 and seemingly left for dead one week after a loss in Cooper’s first game.

At the time it was a genius trade on their part.

But at this point it's looking like a late 20's pick. So where Ridley went in the draft last year is where we may have traded Cooper for if not later. Still needs to hit a 1000 yards and 10 TD's though. ;)

That will be the all-time greatest fire take in the history of Football’s Future if Amari hits thouse numbers.
