Yes, the same Kendall Fuller who played great here. I couldn’t careless what he’s doing in a different system with different coaching. He excelled here and that’s all that matters.

He’s also been terrible here. We can’t act like last year is the only year we saw.

He was bad coming off of a major knee injury and then played great once fully healed. Maybe it was a coincidence and he’d suck here this year but I still think it was a mistake giving him up.

Some of you guys are funny. You really think we would have been terrible enough to out-tank Oakland or SF or all these other terrible teams with our defense?  Rather or not we started Colt from the start of the season we would have been drafting in the early teens at best.

Why not? People did that with DGS.

Btw, not defending Fuller. Just pointing out people do only consider best years for players and tend to forget the others.

Ppl knew who Alex was. A safe QB who would win the turnover battle for you and would let your defense have a good chance to decide the game themselves, which worked with the defense we currently have. Last year’s performance was just a bonus if he could come close to matching that.

We would be easily top 10 or top 5. And with comp picks, able to trade up if we needed to. It also wouldve saved us a 3rd round slot we couldve used on a QB in 2018 and cap space we could use to re-sign our guys

Kendall Fuller...slot corner for the worst pass defense in football, yeah, he would change everything 😂

Anyway, what we really need is at least one improvement at ILB. It continues to emerge as possibly the most pressing non-QB need (other than WR and obviously LG). And a pass rusher. Bummer about McKinzy, wanted to see what he has.

The issue at hand is asset management.  The Redskins had all of the leverage because Mahomes was clearly taking over this year.  There was no need to give up both Fuller and the pick.

Highly doubt that. This D is too talented for that.
