PS   William will be getting serious contention for number one pick after the combine.

As he should have all along.

Brian Burns Florida ST.  was incredible today at the combine. Big Willie said he could easily transfer to outside LB and would be rushing end, threat as well.

One of my favorite prospects this year. Just watched him at the beginning of the week and he stuck way out for me.

So many people on this site have already looked at a billion prospects and made several mock drafts and I've looked at 10  quarterbacks and that's it. I probably won't have time to look at every position this year before draft day.

You're right, and I just started in the last two weeks to look at these guys. It always helps to start with the work others have done and then build off of that. This years I've used @CalhounLambeau's spreadsheet at first, then tankathon which I just happened upon and really like, then yesterday after seeing maybe two minutes of the combine I decided to look up Daniel Jeremiah's top 50 prospects list.

It can be really overwhelming to feel like everyone else is learning about everything before you and in the beginning that's how I felt. Now, though, I've read as much if not more than I've watched or listened to and it's starting to feel like I've got a grip of the first two days of the draft.

This forum is great for it's community of football knowledge with the draft being no exception. If there is a discussion or question you have somebody here will entertain it.

Yeah I know, I've been using Calhoun's spreadsheet to get tape for the players I've looked at, it's just a slow process for me. I'll have looked at all 14 quarterbacks that I want to look at pretty soon, just have to watch some more of Ta'amu and Thorson and then I can move on.

Please guys stop with the QB for the Patriots. There are no QBs worth a pick above the 5th round.

"Daniel Jones, to get the momentum to make those big throws downfield, had to take some pretty big hitches."

If you watch the combine, you would see how average Jones is as a QB.

I don't think that's really true, but I agree a lot of these quarterbacks are overrated. Anyway, Jones won't fall to No. 56. It's just not happening.

Given the Patriots prototype of relatively tall quarterbacks who can make quick decisions and get the ball out, this class doesn't offer much.

If I had to choose a guy, I'd go Will Grier in Rounds 3-7 or Minshew in 6-7.

Dalton Risner, Jonathan Abram, Zach Allen or Juan Thornhill. Wide receiver help in the form of a variety of N'Keal Harry, Hakeem Butler, Deebo Samuel, or JJ Arcega-Whiteside would sufice too. K-State back Alex Barnes would be a good pick too but NEVER happen.

Personally, I would probably go with Zach Allen here.

1. Allen

2. Juan Thornhill

3. N'Keal Harry

4. Jonathan Abram

5. Hakeem Butler
