Idiosyncratic is a universal English word. I've seen it used several times. Yes, perhaps in more academic or formal settings, but I've heard and seen it used. Craic seems like a regional slang word and I've never seen it used.

I have heard them all zero times. I would wager I'm in the large majority.

It depends on my mood but I usually just play along. I'm not big into interacting with people more than I have to.

That's fine and I would agree that Swag deserved a slap upside the head for submitting "idiosyncratic iconoclast." But IMO, craic is less of a word than either of those. 

I'm just going to leave it at that as it is not my game and it's already been ruled on.
