QB2 {Cherubini) goes in and gets hurt on first play... Coach: "Cherubini's hurt now!" Team Doc: "What'd he do, fall off the bench?" That kind of reminds me of the game that Aaron Rodgers was called upon to fill in for an injured Brett Favre and promptly ended his season by having his foot broken. Did Rodgers fall off the bench that day?

I would expect the other three non 1st rounders to sign on Friday. Im not entirely sure where they are at cap wise, but I saw a tweet yesterday that said those three would only increase the cap by ~$85,000, total. y*so*blu
Landon Jones from Bemidji (my cousin's alma mater) has played football for at least five schools (Emerald Ridge and La Mirada High, Cerritos, and Central Washington before he got here). He played basketball and was on the track team before committing to football, so he likely has decent hands and some speed. Was voted best WR on his team all four years of high school, and last year snagged 35 passes for 710 yards and 9 touchdowns (in only 11 games). He could also torch you returning kicks or punts (had one touchdown doing each). And he sees the whole field, if that thousand-yard stare is any indication. The majority of the rookies are actually below the cut-off line in terms of their base salary counting in the top 51, but their signing bonuses hit the cap no matter what.
Eric dunn
Might not happen. But I could see Carolina releasing Jarius Wright. Which I think, Minnesota would be highly interested in reuniting Carolina has Moore, T.Smith, Hogan, Samuel, Ross(from AAF), Wright and some other guys. If they decide to go with a younger talent I could see Wright being one of the final cuts. The top 4 are locked in imo and I doubt Wright will be playing ST. Just an interesting idea of a possibility.
