Heimdallr
Perks Perk 1 Double Time: Triple the duration of Super Sprint and fully refresh Super Sprint on kills. E.O.D.: Take reduced damage from non-killstreak explosives and fire. Hack enemy Claymores, Proximity Mines and C4. Scavenger: Resupply ammo from dead players. Perk 2 Ghost: Undetectable by UAVs, Radar Drones, Heartbeat Sensors and High Alert. Hide the death markers of enemies you kill. Hardline: Your killsteaks cost 1 less kill. Shrapnel: Spawn with and extra piece of lethal equipment. Explosive damage delays enemy health regeneration. Spotter: See enemy equipment, field upgrades, and killstreaks through walls. Mark them for your team by looking at them while aiming down sights. Otherwise replaced for Wheelson) 7 Emergency Airdrop Call in 3 random killstreak care packages to your location. 8 VTOL Jet Releases an initial missile barrage before guarding a location of the player's choice 8 Chopper Gunner Control an assault chopper armed with a turret and air-to-land missiles. 10 White Phosphorus Cover the battlefield with white smoke flare canisters that will disorient the enemy, and burn any that wander too close. 10 Support Helo Call in a heavy assault helo with twin turrets to patrol the map. 11 Gunship Heavy assault gunship with three types of armaments. 12 Advanced UAV Orbital UAV that reveals the enemy's direction on the mini map. 12 Juggernaut Call in a care package that contains the Juggernaut assault gear. 15 Tactical Nuke Kaboom Unknown Awesome. All of that looks reasonable. Do killstreak kills help you get other killstreaks? So if I got the precision airstrike at 5 kills and got three kills with it, does that give me the VTOL Jet? Am I understanding that correctly.
Heimdallr
I can tell right now my go-to class setup will be EOD, Ghost and either Battle Hardened or Spotter. The rest of the perks don't really do much for me. For Field Upgrades, I will probably go with Trophy System for objective modes, or Stopping Power for slaying modes. Also, forcing everyone to use a tactical and lethal just creates SO much grenade spam. With the pick-10 system a lot of people skip those for an extra perk or attachment. showtime
Just now, Heimdallr said: Correct, which is why I loved the pick-10 system. So much more room to be creative with a class. I hated the pick-10 system (I know I'm in the minority). People weren't really creative, they just found the three best perks in the game and ran them. Now, people aren't going to be able to do that because Perk 3 (for example), has several perks I want to run, but I can only choose one. showtime
My perks will be this: E.O.D. Hardline Amped/Battle Hardened I'm team jump on the B flag. I only run UAV, Counter-UAV and whatever five killstreak is the best. Hardline would make those killstreaks 2, 3, 4 kills so I can spam them over and over to help the team. I need to try out the perks in the third slot, but I also love shooting down enemy killstreaks, so faster rocket launcher swapping and reloading seems awesome. But battle hardened, Cold-Blooded and Spotter all seems like I would like them as well.
Heimdallr
Based on what we have seen so far, these are my thoughts: GOOD: By far the best graphics ever in COD. Everything looks amazing. I love that every gun has muzzle velocity and penetration based on the real-life bullet caliber/grain. Tons of content on day 1. Much more than recent titles. No season pass Crossplay Powerful streaks No specialist powers (the field upgrades are pretty minor) Classic guns (M4, AK47, SCAR, MP5, MP7, P90, AUG) Interactive objects on maps (doors, light switches, etc) Revamped attachment system so you can really customize your gun. 2v2, 10v10 and 20v20 all sound like a ton of fun 100+ player mode (reportedly NOT a BR mode) Classic TTK and health (screw BO4) Night maps that require night-vision goggles. Unlimited sprint, sliding, fast mantling, and also the super sprint mechanic Progress will be shared between modes (multiplayer, campain, spec ops, etc.) Fast loading times and clean menus You'll be able to see teammates through walls BAD: No mini-map. Killstreaks instead of scorestreaks No Dead Silence/Awareness perks Footsteps are very hard to hear. Ghost will be active even when you aren't moving. Seemingly slow SMG ADS time (these first 6 things combined will lead to a LOT of camping) More recoil than previous games New guns and lots of content will assuredly be hard to get without paying a ton for MTX Quickscoping is still a thing Only 4 SMGs at launch (that we know of so far) No mini-map. As @Heimdallr mentioned, there is a perk that allows killstreak kills to count towards the progression to other streaks. That is in the same perk group as hardline, so you can choose to run lower streaks with hardline or run 5-8-11 or whatever and run the other one. The no mini-map is a disaster. I would be fine with not showing enemies unless there is a UAV (still show gunfire dots on the compass), but not knowing where teammates are makes any sort of tactical play extremely hard. My entire playstyle is usually just soundwhoring and positioning based on the minimap, so those two things going away is gonna really suck. Everyone is going to play much slower.

Did you find footsteps hard to hear in BO4? Previous CODs I felt were pretty good with this and made Awareness a real advantage but I feel like they're **** in BO4. I didn't even recognize no dead silence/awareness til you mentioned it because I forgot footsteps were a thing lol.

I thought they were really quiet in BO4, but I only played that one for a few months. I loved BO3 because of the loud footsteps and jetpack noises. flyers0909
Really think E.O.D. is a must with the required lethals and perks that give you an extra or regen them. Everything else in Perk 1 is pretty lackluster outside maybe Scav.
