@ny92mike just one thing I wish that could change on the workbooks (not sure how feasible it is):

When I have someone (say a LB) listed on my block in line X (let's say line 68), and suddenly I add (trade or FA or draft) a player that will be inserted above (say a QB in line 20), then the trade block listing doesn't follow the player originally listed, but stays on line X.

In this instance I had Funchess listed on my trade block. Suddenly the TEs I just drafted were added to my roster. And the trade block annotation went to Ian Thomas.

If you know a better workaround for this please let me know.  Because the data is linked to the master workbook I haven't figured a way to solve this issue with the data being on the same page.  I did however set it up so that you can create a trade block on a new sheet, that won't give you these issues.  The process is still pretty easy just using the drop down list to select the player name in the sheet titled "TRADE BLOCK" using columns C & D you can type what you are in search of, ISO in C and use the drop down in column D, the other cells will populate if the player is still listed on your roster, if not they'll remain blank. (columns E thru U).  It's about the best solution I've been able to come up with so again if you've got something better let me know.

One  way to look is 2nd to last page of discussion has a list that was available at my last pick last night.

And If you look at your roster, it says the team the player is on next to them. So you can figure out which position group you have drafted.

Right....the Team Roster Info sheet in each one of our private workbooks cell range A28 thru C40 list the amounts spent on positions you drafted, zero dollars spent is a good way to tell if you drafted that position yet or not.

Example:

Position Group Cap Hit # of Players
QB $0 0
RB/FB $2,553,864 3
TE $7,084,478 2
WR $10,169,480 6
OT $26,302,192 5
INT OL $21,895,000 3
EDGE $3,611,410 5
INT DL $20,044,660 6
ILB/LB $0 0
SAFETY $14,136,373 4
CB $22,704,404 7
ST $0 0

Total Pos. Group $128,501,861 41

Hey guys, so mike needs feedback on the workbooks, the draft process, everything.

He needs to know what we like, what we dont, what we might think could be improved or what not. I mean after all, that's the whole point of this test run.

What he said.

I know that my workbooks are so amazing that we don't need a discussion on just how amazing they are...haha.  But it would be nice if you guys just let me know if we wanted to run the free agency or a portion of it for testing purposes.  I've added a feature that will let you know how many bids are placed on the player and if you're bid is within the top 5 highest ranked or not.

Keeping me in the dark sucks just so you guys know that.

I think for the real thing when we draft a position group, we should list who we actually want from that group to save us the hassle of cutting and you all the hassle of adding players and the just removing them

The nice thing is adding them takes a second...the way this is set up it pulls them all in the moment I type in the overall pick number....Really easy stuff.

The nightmare will be deleting them all from the rosters.  I'd rather have it easy adding to be honest.

If we phased the cut process out just for this initial roster building process, I could set it up so that what you label as cuts could be linked over so that we could essentially batch file cuts.

Or better yet maybe something like the Trade Block sheet where you punch in the name there and it's linked back and once we get a big enough group of cuts we just run a formula to list them as UFA.

Either way, I think we can get a solution to this issue for the real.

May want to look at this again.  I'm 95 percent sure I'm the only one who hasn't taken a safety group yet.

By the way if anyone wants tashaun Gipson or Justin Rei, Let me know lol

Kinda weird that I'm only seeing one safety left and we still have like 3 teams without a safety.
