Yeah, that's why I mentioned "if his shot comes along" he'll be legit. Inconsistent shooter at this point and a lot of it has to do with him being a pull-up, off the dribble shooter.

Yeah, skilled guys with playmaking ability usually stick around the league for a while. He'll have a long career as a backup PG especially if he can start shooting with better consistency.

Yeah the expected to 1st overall pick has actually become underrated.  He isn’t your Zion or Ja elite talent so it’s become kind of chic to have a few guys over him.  I think people have forgotten how good he actually is

Yeah, it's hard to gauge how teams feel about prospects at this point because a lot of teams use smoke screens with the information they leak. He's not a perfect prospect but he definitely has a ton of potential and great physical tools. If he's on the board at #3, Charlotte definitely takes him. He's BPA at that point and the league's best teams are led by elite perimeter players for the most part. They have some okay pieces in place but adding a guy like Edwards gives them a young prospect with All-Star potential.

I hate the Stewart pick at #27. If the Knicks are going to invest into another big they need someone that can space the floor and compliments Robinson.

GIVE ME TILLIE AT 38

Hayes, Woodard/any other wing, and Tillie would be godly. I mean, that is if Tillie stays healthy.

Hehehehehe yes. See the light. I have both Hayes and Avdija right under Wiseman on my board.

7. Aleksej Pokusevski | F | Greece

I love this ranking for him, even though I have him listed in my wildcard tier of players. If he reaches his potential he could be a 2-Way Jokic (with a little less girth, but better handles) which would be terrifying for the league.

1 hour ago, NYRaider said:

8. Tyrese Haliburton | PG | Iowa State

9. Kira Lewis | CG | Alabama

10. Isaac Okoro | SF | Auburn

I have Lewis rated a little better than Haliburton. I think he could be Schroeder who plays hard on D. Give me that over an efficient MCW.

1 hour ago, NYRaider said:

11. Patrick Williams | F|  Florida state

I think your overrating Williams. People are expecting a Gerald Wallace defender, but he's Paul Millsap through and through. He can't defend on the perimeter; if he goes this high, that is what will be expected of him. He has stone feet, tight hips, and poor footwork on D. He has trouble guarding players in college on the perimeter that might only be good enough to make the UK NBL league. Just not a fan.

1 hour ago, NYRaider said:

12. Tyrell Terry | PG | Stanford

Coming in at 6'3 was huge for Terry. I still have concerns with his overall handles and athletic limitations, but he can get in the paint very well and shoot the lights out the ball. He will be awful on D though.

1 hour ago, NYRaider said:

13. Cole Anthony | CG | North Carolina

I like this although I have Cole in my potential All-Star tier.

21. Jalen Smith | FC | Maryland

22. Desmond Bane | SG | TCU

23. Josh Green | SG | Arizona

24. RJ Hampton | CG | USA

25. Theo Maledon | PG | France

I think Precious should be considerably higher, especially with you liking Okoro and Williams so much. But that's just my .02. I also think Maledon is awful and likely wont even be selected in the first round.

1 hour ago, NYRaider said:

26. LaMelo Ball | CG | USA

Perfect. I am not the only one who sees the fool's gold for what it is. Too bad for whatever team in the top 5 (Chicago) that will end up with him.

No Nico in your rankings, which I find odd. I think Nico is going to be an excellent pro. He reminds me so much of Mike Bibby. I think at worse he will be an elite Back Up guard.

Hayes is my favorite prospect in the class, he's so skilled I just don't see him busting. And I also like Avdija because I think if he reaches his ceiling he's a border line All-Star like Gordon Hayward but even if he doesn't he'll be a high end role player. That's what I like about Wiseman as well, if he reaches his peak he's a 7'1" Chris Bosh with better rim protection but even if he doesn't he'll still have value as a rim running/paint protecting big.

He actually plays like a wing despite being a 7 footer and is definitely the most unique prospect in the class. I'm higher on him this year then I would be in a stronger class because he's such a boom/bust prospect but he's one of the few players with elite upside in the class.

I have them neck and neck as prospects but they're two very different players. The reason I rated Haliburton slightly higher is because he's a true point guard but can also be effective playing next to another ball dominant player because he's elite in catch and shoot situations. So he's a high end playmaker that can run your offense when needed but also play off ball if you have a ball dominant wing. He's also better defensively than Lewis and he's bigger/longer so I think he has more defensive versatility at the next level, he'll be able to guard 1's, 2's, and even some 3's. I really like Lewis as well though I just think he's better suited to be in a Schroeder/Lou Will type of role as a tweener scoring guard that provides a spark plug off the bench.

I agree that his success in the league will be dependent on him improving as an athlete, particularly with his lateral quickness so he has more switchability. But if he does, which I think he can and will, he should be an excellent team defender. I also like his offensive potential more than most, I don't think he'll ever be a star but he should be a high end role player that's versatile on both ends.

I like Terry more than most, I think his ceiling is a lesser version of Trae Young but his realistic projection is a slightly better Seth Curry. He has an above average handle and is pretty crafty so I don't think that'll be an issue for him and he should improve off the dribble as he develops. I was actually surprised at how well he finished around the rim despite being a smaller guard and just an average athlete. He definitely has to get stronger but I like his potential long term because he's a special shooter.

11 hours ago, YogiBiz said:

I like Cole more than I did at the beginning of the process. He's definitely a good shooter and can hit difficult shots off the bounce, I'm just a little concerned about his inefficiency. But a big part of that was that UNC really had no other talent around him and horrible spacing. I also think like Lewis he's somewhat of a tweener so his best role at the next level is probably a super 6th man, scoring spark plug off the bench.

11 hours ago, YogiBiz said:

I like Precious as well and I actually might make a few edits before I call it my final board. I'll probably release one more tomorrow. I like Okoro more than Precious or Williams by a significant margin though. He's going to be an absolute dog defensively and he's a good playmaker off the dribble, he just wasn't really asked to do that at Auburn. If he can even shoot at an average level I think he'll be a very good NBA player.

11 hours ago, YogiBiz said:

I literally do not like Ball as a prospect at all. He has some value as a big guard that can create and as a passer. But he can't shoot at all, isn't explosive enough to consistently beat guys off the bounce in the NBA, and isn't laterally quick enough to be a good defender. He's basically a mixture of MCW and Austin Rivers.

I like but don't love Nico, he'll probably be in the final version I release tomorrow.

Great work, the only critique I'd make is I can't see Atlanta passing on Haliburton and Hayes to take Vassell. They need another playmaking guard and already have a few young wings that aren't really creators.

Went with Vassell solely for the purpose of having a wing defender worth a damn that can also be an offensive threat. I didn't even consider a PG there. It was either Vassell or Okoro. That's why I took Dotson for Atlanta in the 2nd, as another playmaking PG.

Tillman, Poku, McDaniels, Bey, Woodard, and Achiuwa would all fit well.

my top guys are Tillman/Poku/Bane/Maxey/Woodard for guys who will likely be at 22. I really like a lot of guys in the 10-40 range
