Orca 1.0 might be one of the players that cannot be converted and thus he died.  Malf and what was it, md4l, lived.  They might have been converted.

That's not what happens when conversion fails, read the autopsy. It says that when a conversion fails, that person is informed of who targeted them. That being said, it does seem like very good odds that Swag is the one who converted Malf. MD4L is certainly suspect now too. Swag tomorrow.

That is when he attempts to convert right.  Not when however converted malf fails

Does this stop the Borg from further conversions? Or simply identifying an item he had, and any surviving Borg can continue to convert?

It was an item Locutus of Borg had in his starting inventory. I cannot tell you if any other characters have this item or started with this item.

Or don't because only scum can use moves tonight and they will 100% try to redirect Counselor, giving them an extra kill with no chance of protection

True...but that's gonna happen for the rest of the game right...or be a risk for the rest of the game. If he is gonna do it later...might as well do it now

No. Because right now nobody has any chance of having protections. At least in later nights, civs have a chance at being protected. Stop talking, jesus christ.

And also you're reaching the totally wrong conclusion here. If scum is going to be trying to redirect counselor all game that means he should just hold that shot period. Especially since we find out roles when people die. We'll know when the scum redirector dies.
