beekay414
But why? Hader was only at 20 pitches. I swear to god, if Fat Matt blows this again...

I never understood why Counsell was hired in the first place. So many folks were so excited about it but not me. This hiring reminded me of when GB hired Bart Starr back in the day. beekay414
Also, I don't think we should ever pay for relievers unless they are bargains. Yeah, our bullpen has been derping lately but you always have options like Chase Williams down in the minors. Not elite potential or anything but guys with tools that can do better than journeymen like Oliver Drake and JJ Hoover.

Got blown up today when his control went to crap in the 2nd inning but had a brilliant 9 pitch 1st before it.

Could play any position, is solid on the bases so he can pinch run, and isn't worthless with the bat. We've had a ton of prospects besides Kodi off to good starts btw. Notthingham is murdering AAA, Corey Ray is hitting .300 in AA all of the sudden, Freddy Peralta has had 2 shutouts in his AAA starts. Oh and Josh Hader has 20 Ks in 8.2 IP.
