DM pulled the trigger on the Parra-Haniger deal btw. Both Parra deals actually. Edited April 24, 2018 by bkobow05

Watch. And Nottingham still might be a valuable piece even if he's not the catcher of future. The Segura deal is hit or miss, but kudos to Arizona for fixing him. He might have been terrible here and left for nothing. Anderson is valuable on his deal and we also got a fairly big part of Yelich deal.

Davis was a LF only in the NL and Segura needed a change of scenery.
beekay414
I know we struggled with closing after Knebel went down (and a lot of that had to do with a lot more than the pitching) but we may have the best bullpen in baseball.
beekay414
Dubon's 2018 line so far... .308/.313/.508 with 2 HR, 8 RBI, 3 SB, 5 2B, 1 3B. Can we PLEASE end this Eric Sogard experience and just call this kid up? I GUARANTEE you he can put up better than the 14 wRC+ that Sogard has put up so far this year... When healthy... Knebel, Hader, Jeffress, Albers, Jennings, Logan, Barnes with the option to keep an 8th guy like Suter or Drake. That's pretty god damn filthy. EDIT - Forgot about Taylor Williams too. Edited April 25, 2018 by bkobow05

He needs to start taking more pitches before I call him up. The experiment that I'm really looking to end is Brent Suter in the rotation. Get him in the bullpen as a long guy to cover short starts or a lefty specialist and get Woodruff up here now for a start against the Cubs in Wrigley. Woodruff started on the 21st so Suter's start on the 27th is timed perfectly for him. And as a bonus we get to send Drake down. 9 hours ago, bkobow05 said: I know we struggled with closing after Knebel went down (and a lot of that had to do with a lot more than the pitching) but we may have the best bullpen in baseball. We were talking about the Indians bullpen as the best pen in baseball. We have our version of Cody Allen and Andrew Miller, and I think at least similar depth. It's really, really weird as a Brewer fan to see pitching depth. First time I can really remember, even when we had a great rotation the bullpen was always bad. hrubes20
But on the serious side, does this mean Aguilar starts more against RHPs now?
