Malik
I remember seeing a lot of my fellow Jets fans arguing in favor of his....talents.

I guess one nice preseason game is better than what Hackensack did his entire career... How about Bryce Petty, the guy who couldn't beat out Christian Hackenberg?

SkippyX
I can't think of two Andy Reid QBs that were just plain awful. The only one was Mike McMahon in 2005. He went 2-5 with the defending NFC Super Bowl team and in his 2 wins he had a 33.5 and a 51.3 rating. Guys like AJ Feeley and Koy Detmer could look like a star under Andy Reid but not Mike McMahon. This guy may take the cake though: Brad Goebel The 1991 Eagles had what might have been the best defense of all-time (top 10 for sure) Bryce Paup hit Cunningham low in week 1 and they had a mess of QB the rest of the year A very worn out Jim McMahon went 8-3 while he took about 10 injuries in those 12 games. (80 rating) Career backup Jeff Kemp went 1-1 (60 rating) Goebel was a first year player but they need him to just not be horrific to beat a terrible 3-13 Tampa team. He went 9-20 for 62 yards and 2 picks. He finished the year with a 27 rating including 12.9 and 28.0 in his two starts. (0-2 where 1-1 means the playoffs and anything could happen with that D) Guys like Jamarcus , Connor Cook, Tom Savage, or even Nathan Peterman would have beaten Tampa that day.
Apparition
Holy crap, I totally forgot Mike McMahon existed.
Apparition
John Beck was really bad, too. Entered the league as a 26-year-old rookie in '07, picked 40th overall. Started 4 games as a rookie for a putrid Miami team that went 1-15. Lost all 4, naturally. Didn't appear in another game for 4 years, when he took over for an injured Rex Grossman in 3 games with Washington. Lost all of those as well. In total he went 0-7 as a starter with 3 TDs and 7 INTs.

To be slightly fair to Beck, he came back with the Skins and those Redskins teams were a trash fire around him, Bills sacked him 11 times in one game. Yeah but where I come from, we hold QBs with mullets to a higher standard.
Thelonebillsfan
tbh Nate Peterman isn't even the worst QB to start a game for the Bills this decade let alone ever. Brohm was worse. I'd say Tuel but at least Jeff Tuel, an undrafted rookie QB, managed to throw an NFL touchdown. Brohm couldn't even do that. Plus you gotta add the weird Mormonism too it.

TIL that Brohm's older brother Jeff, who coaches Purdue, played QB for the 49ers during the mid-90s. He had only 1 career TD pass. What a sad family.
