Silver&Black88
He was surprisingly decent for us. Kind of bummed about this tbh. Jacobs can handle the lead back role but beyond him, we have Jalen Richard (mostly receiving back) and DeAndre Washington (decent all around but undersized). Martin would have been nice to have around in case something happened to Jacobs because if he gets injured, I'm not excited for our RB production. In the end, I could see him making another roster and if that happens, it means Jon Gruden rejuvenated his career. Its nice to have him do something nice for once. In seriousness, he was actually considered before the Texans signed Lamar Miller; If he's capable as a pass protector in the pocket, he could stick here for a season. RaiderX
Played the least of all the RBs in preseason. Jacob's, Washington and Richard have similar skill sets as well as build.

I think at this point, that wouldn't be a bad move for you guys. Considering how close we are to the season. He got the bulk of carries when Marshawn Lynch went down last season. ChazStandard
Doug Martin and Alfred Morris both broke out about the same time, and everyone was thinking they next two star feature backs, both burned out so fast. Weird how that happens.

Weird how that happens. Happens a lot at the position and is a big reason backs don’t get paid as much. Larry Johnson springs to mind when I think of dominating backs that just burned out.
