(*) Correction: didn't spend it wisely. Hope you're not harping on the Landon Collins signing. I think he will become the best FA signing since Fletcher. Collins is actually a Redskins fan. Wanted us to draft him. Not to mention, he was sorely needed back there for us.
A TRAIN 89
The crazy thing about the Redskins is their highest paid players are consistently not their most productive: not sure how accurate, but... Alex Smith/Josh Norman/Trent Williams/Jordan Reed/Ryan Kerrigan/Landon Collins/Morgan Moses/Paul Richardson Some of the higher paid guys either don’t play or don’t produced. All this talk about Bruce fixing the $$ issue and being frugal is a sham.

Jeezy Fanatic
Good chance to extend Ereck Flowers before he drives his value too high.
Troublez
If we trade Trent and cut Norman, could we eat the remainder of Alex Smith's contract?

Who is also a worse player who’s been a lockeroom cancer everywhere he’s gone which is why he never stays on a team more than two years at a time. We're better off cutting Alex next year. If we make him a post june 1st cut next year we don't lose any cap space by cutting him.

All this talk about Bruce fixing the $$ issue and being frugal is a sham. I’d say that TWill, Norman, Kerrigan, Reed and Moses are some of the teams most productive players. Collins is a TBD, he hasn’t played for us yet but he was one of the Giants best players since they drafted him in 2015. PRich, I’d agree with bc of his injury last year so, that’s TBD for this year. Where Allen has done better than Cerrato is not overpaying for average players or back ups. If you pay attention to our back ups, most of them are young players we drafted or signed as UDFA. Thats good use of the cap. For example, we didn’t overpay to keep Murphy, Grant, Long, PSmith and Crowder the last few off-seasons, instead we are using the comp picks now to bring in young talent. mar29020
we need it to extend our homegrown. we have drafted good players like cousins and crowder but we keep letting them walk. Very frustrating.

Very frustrating. Remains to be seen with Crowder. Paying that much for a slot WR who’s missed a lot of games the last two years and hasn’t been the same since DJax & Garçon weren’t re-signed was questionable. Especially since they think Quinn can replace him which is also tbd. Edited August 28, 2019 by turtle28
