BleedTheClock
If a stud OG isn't there in R2, I'm trading out to get a 1st next year.

If someone wants to pony up, I'd absolutely be all for this. I'm still hoping that we can get Winfield Jr. in Round 3 or even an immediate impact WR/Red Zone threat in this loaded class. From there, I personally believe after his last two games, Simmons is GONE. 6-4, 230 pound athletic freak hybrid that can play OLB, S, slot, and a game changer vs. the run, setting the edge, and in pass coverage. Derrick Brown is a Top 5-10 talent at 6'5 and 315-320 with production to match as a DT at Auburn, but he MAY fall to us at 10. Jedrick Wills as an OT from Alabama is a guy who may fall to 10 or may get gobbled up depending on how people feel about Andrew Thomas, OT from UGA. Both are 6-5 and 320, and Wills is a dominant run blocker who improved in pass protection as a Junior, and while he played RT, it was Tua's blindside. I personally prefer Thomas, as his combination of strength and athleticism, combined with experience as a RT and LT in more of a "Pro Style" offense, combined with 41 games as a starter, make him a "Day 1 starting OT" in my opinion. Hopefully people start making a run on guys like Lamb and Dalpit, as I'm terrified we draft Dalpit, who I think is as overrated of a S/DB prospect as I've seen in a LONG time. On top of his overrated play, his effort is consistently "meh" at best in pursuit, and that's not what we want or need. Guys I'd take aside from OT if they fell (at least have a realistic chance at falling to 10...Chase Young isn't falling anywhere, neither is Okudah) are Simmons and Brown. A runningback or a safety goong top 9 would be nice.

I don't see Swift/Dobbins/Etienne going top 10, although I think ALL of those guys are Franchise RBs. I'm terrified Delpit is who we will draft. I think Simmons goes Top 10 for sure. That said, we can always hope!

That said, la, nyj, arizona, Carolina, and Jacksonville dont need or wont draft an rb high. Maimi needs too much to draft an rb, Washington will take chase, cin takes burrows, so it wont happen. Check (find him a roster spot) Added bonus that he's an OL and fits a need!
MWil23
In all seriousness, as for Buckeyes, guys I would take regardless of position strengths on our roster are: Chase Young: Will be long gone Okudah: Will be long gone Burrow: Will be long gone, OSU alum and Mr. Ohio Football in HS, I'm counting him JK Dobbins: Great future Pro RB (we don't need one) Jordan Fuller: Safety is a need, and while his angles need a lot of improvement, he has some ball hawking skills and is a great leader/worker. I'd prefer Winfield though. Malik Harrison: Could be an ideal SLB/MLB and has a solid floor as a 2 down ILB. Good Round 2/3 value Guys I won't want: *Arnette: I think he's highly overrated KJ Hill: I think that his athleticism isn't very good, but he will be a really solid player for a while in the NFL. He's not the athlete/burner many think he is

The value always makes sense relative to other positions. Better players at a lower draft cost. Sign me up. There's so many special WRs.... and more just keep popping up.. it's madness. Can you shoot a list of your top 10? I am curious, I have watched this class and I dont see it.... Fully admitting I could be Wrong here....LOL

To put it in perspective, check out the chart here: https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp I'm almost always in favor of trading back (LONG LIVE the WAR CHEST!), but the value to trade back 1-2 spots and still "get your guy" is the equivalent of a 5th and 6th round pick, and that's not worth not getting your guy. I need this on a Tshirt!!!!!!!
DaWg_LB.
Also an Open ended Question to all the Brothers in here......I think were ALL on Board for an OT at 10.......Give me your top 3 talents if they slipped, that you would be on board with drafting OVER the OT (your Favorite of the top 3). My list is a simple one... 1. Chase Young (I think that is Universal) 2. DT Derrick Brown 3. CB Jeff Okudah Who would make you want to take the Top OT available in round 2 when we pick again? Good Round 2/3 value He's going to be very good. I love him as a prospect and think he's worthy of a late 1st round selection. JK Dobbins is an uberstar. He's capable of being in the discussion for top 5 RB in the league...eventually. I am incredibly high on him.
